Premium rangefinders don’t just give you a number—they give you the right number, quickly and clearly. With the Tour V7 Shift, Bushnell Golf refines how slope-adjusted distance is presented, putting the “play-as” yardage front and center in a brighter, faster display designed to reduce doubt and speed up decisions.
The gold standard
Bushnell has never lacked credibility in the rangefinder space. When a brand’s technology is trusted by roughly 99 percent of PGA Tour players, the baseline assumption is that it works as advertised. What the Tour V7 Shift highlights, however, is how much some golfers underestimate what a good rangefinder actually brings to the table, often because their point of reference is a cheaper unit that technically provides yardage but falls short in other places.
Slope First Technology
The defining update is what Bushnell has branded Slope First Technology, a new display logic that shows the compensated, “play-as” distance first, in green, directly in the player’s line of sight. Instead of forcing golfers to hunt for the slope-adjusted number or mentally translate elevation into club choice, the Tour V7 Shift leads with the information that drives the club choice. Nobody is suggesting Slope First is game-changing technology but it is a subtle shift that aligns closely with how golfers think through shots in the real world.
Dual-color display
Just as noticeable is the new dual-color OLED display. Again, hardly a game changer, but certainly an area where premium rangefinders tend to separate themselves. It’s one of the most immediately apparent differences for golfers upgrading from entry-level devices. The display is brighter, sharper and easier to read across a wide range of lighting conditions. Washed-out screens, dim readouts, visual clutter: all common complaints with cheaper units (like the piece of trash my buddy Mike uses)—aren’t part of the experience here.
PinSeeker with Visual JOLT
Target acquisition remains a Bushnell strength. PinSeeker with Visual JOLT delivers fast, confident target lock-on without relying on prisms in the flagstick and without being confused by what’s behind the target. Trees, bunkers and background terrain are filtered out quickly and reliably, something golfers often don’t fully appreciate until they’ve dealt with a rangefinder that hesitates, jumps numbers or confidently locks onto the wrong object.
Link-Enabled
The Tour V7 Shift also adds Link-Enabled MyBag functionality, allowing golfers to view personalized “play-as” distances and club recommendations when paired with the Bushnell Golf app (and with some insight from a Bushnell or Foresight launch monitor.
Yardage Range Recall
A new Yardage Range Recall feature lets players quickly confirm the last ranged distance with a single press of the mode button—useful during practice sessions or when double-checking a number mid-round.
The rest of the feature set
Rounding out the feature set are the essentials expected from Bushnell’s top-tier offerings: Slope Technology that can be turned off for tournament play, 6X magnification, 500-yard-plus ranging capability, IPX6 weather resistance, bright clear optics and the BITE magnetic cart mount. A carry case and a CR2 battery are included.

The Bushnell Tour V7 Shift will be available starting in mid-February at select golf retailers and at BushnellGolf.com, with a retail price of $399.99.
