What Would You Name This Driver?

Cobra might not know it yet but they need your help. Why? Well…because the other day our friends over at Golf-Patents.com showed off a new Cobra driver patent…and I think they are gonna need help naming this beast. That is if it ever actually gets produced. Now there is no gurantee that they will use the name that we award as the winner…but you guys have always given some great inspiration in past contests and you never know maybe they will take a liking to one of the entries.

How To Enter!

Ok…imagine for a second that you are the head of the design team over at Cobra Golf…and you’re in charge of coming up with the hottest new name for their brand new design. Remember there’s a lot to a name…so take a good look at the design. The success of this new product launch is riding on you. So…Good Luck!

This innovative Cobra model needs a name which can be extended into future upgraded model versions of the same like TM did with the R5, R7, R9 and now R11. As you know,,,the R series Taylor Made drivers elevated the company to number one and is the reason why they continued the R line. Therefore, some firsts for this potential series need not to be paired with gimmicky snake names, but rather a name like:

Cobra FlyZ or Fly-Z (could be known as “Cobra flies” and the tour model Cobra FlyZ-T
Next in series could be: FlyZ-13…and FlyZ-13T…..The 13 would signify the year of the product release. using years (especially odd numbered ones) can be quite effective.

I think it should be called the “Cobra Devide”, hopefully it will be that acurate you will be able to devide the fairway up

3) The Claymore – was a large sword used in the late Medieval and early modern periods. Made famous by Williams Wallace.
4) The Ballistic – the science or art of designing and accelerating projectiles so as to achieve a desired performance.
5) The Brute Force – a powerful yet efficient way of solving problems.
