“We Need MyGolfSpy’s Help”
We got a very interesting call the other day from a top of the line…super high-end putter company (whom we are not allowed to actually name right now). But, they said they loved everything we are doing at MyGolfSpy and they wanted our readers help…they asked if the MGS readers could give them a helping hand. (You might have also noticed that this week Bobby Grace asked the MGS readers assistance with naming his next putter. P.S. – Don’t forget to enter) Well this putter company does not want help with the name but they do want help designing their next couple putters!
“1 Goal…To Design The Best Putter Ever Made!”
They said they have 1 goal…and that is to make the most incredible…breathe-taking…most amazing performing putters every made and used in the game of golf. A lofty goal we told them…but we felt like our readers would be up to the task. So we asked them to define what they wanted from you guys first. Then we made sure that they would offer you guys some incredible pricing and first dibs on the new line-up when it gets released. They agreed without a seconds hesitation. So we asked them to go ahead and send over what they wanted you guys to help them with…and this is what they sent:

Here is the list of items they would love your ideas for. * Please make sure to email us your ideas…they don’t want all the other putter companies taking the MyGolfSpy readers ideas and using them before they can ;) You can answer all of their questions or just a few if you would like…it’s up to you. Whose ever idea they use will get one of the 1st production models off the mill! SO HAVE SOME FUN WITH THIS ONE!

1. Fresh Design Ideas! – they don’t want to copy what everyone else has done in the past they want to change the future of putter design. So help them come up with your dream putter. Tell them what feature you would like to see offered in their next putter line. You can send in drawings or just your ideas in writing…either way is fine.
2. Face – Would you like to see an insert? What kind? What about mill marks…what kind? Materials? Tell us what you want to see!
3. Feel & Sound – What type of sound do you like the most? Give us an example of a putter you have used that you like the sound and feel of? Or got an idea for sound on a putter…let us know.
4. Hosel Shape – Have a unique idea for a hosel design that you think could improve your putting or maybe just a hosel design that you like already? Got a crazy idea for one? Let us hear it.
5. Weight – What weight do you prefer? Do you like face-balanced or toe hang putters? Would you like to see more ability to change the weight of your putter? Got a adjustable weight idea you think would work better?
6. Colors & Finishes – Ahhh…finishes…my favorite! What type finish do you like best? Something that you would like to see done that have never been done before?
7. Grips – Have an idea for a grip that could help other golfers? Also got a favorite grip you putt with now…let us know.
8 . Headcover – yeah we know, it has nothing to do with getting the ball in the hole quicker but it is th first thing you see on your putter. So we would love to know what you like and dislike or any ideas you have for a better mousetrap when it comes to “Trojan” for the putter.
9. Shaft – Got a crazy idea for the putter shaft on this dream putter you are building?
10. The Kitchen Sink – if there is anything that didn’t fall into one of the first 9 categories that you want on your dream putter, then use it for #10.

When will the “winners” be determined…. or, more to the point, when will we know if ANY Mygolfspy reader ideas were used??? I’m also still very curious to find out which manufacturer we’re “designing” for!
