Color me excited for this one because I’m always excited to see tour pros upgrading their style game for the better. Johnnie-O continues to deepen its presence on the PGA Tour with the signing of Jake Knapp and J.T. Poston to multi-year ambassador agreements. The pair joins a growing roster of players and personalities as the brand steadily expands its footprint in professional golf.
Knapp and Poston bring a combined four PGA Tour victories to the table and, just as importantly, represent two distinct but complementary sides of the Johnnie-O identity. Knapp, a California native and UCLA alum, embodies the brand’s laid-back West Coast influence. Poston, who hails from Hickory, N.C, reflects the East Coast roots that have long been central to Johnnie-O’s DNA. Together, they neatly illustrate the coast-to-coast balance the brand has built its reputation on.
The partnership begins immediately with both players being outfitted by Johnnie-O at the start of the 2026 season. Knapp is expected to wear pieces like the brand’s performance polos and Cross Country Flex pants during competition while Poston will lean into staples such as the Carmel 5-Pocket Pants, Sully 1/4 Zip, and Crosswind Vest.
For Johnnie-O, the signings feel less like a sudden shift and more like a natural continuation of momentum. The brand has been steadily adding credibility within the golf space, pairing Tour players with instructors, creators and well-known personalities to build a diverse ambassador group that feels authentic rather than manufactured.
