Jones Adds an Ecru Heritage Trouper, Because Apparently the Bag Wasn’t Pretty Enough Already

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the Jones Heritage Trouper might be the best looking golf bag ever made. If that’s too much of a stretch for you, fine. However, it’s pretty inarguable that this is the best looking bag of 2026, and it’s not particularly close. Somehow, it’s gotten even better looking, and that’s a problem for the rest of the premium bag market.

As you know, I’m a sucker for a green golf bag, and am absolutely smitten with my Evergreen Heritage Trouper. That being said, when Jones announced the Ecru Heritage Trouper, I couldn’t believe how good it looked, and I may actually like it better than the green. For me, that’s saying a lot. When it comes to my golf bag, I’ll almost always choose green. Those days may be over.

Functionally, the Ecru Heritage Trouper is the same as the original Jones Trouper and is made of the same vegan leather as the other Heritage colorways. What sets the Ecru bag apart, though, is just how good it looks. This bag goes completely neutral and leans hard into earth tones, making it a natural, elegant fit on any course. Like its brethren, the Ecru Heritage Trouper is a love letter to classic golf but engineered with modern tech and functionality for today’s player.

We’re just a few months into the golfing season here in the northeast, but so far, I’m loving my Evergreen Heritage Trouper. I’m continually impressed with how good this bag looks, and the Ecru bag shows that Jones can take things to an even higher level. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Evergreen colorway has already sold out, and with how good the Ecru looks, I don’t expect this one to last long.
