Looking For A New Golf Bag? Titleist Has You Covered With Three New Players Models

If you were to open up your Golfer’s Field Guide to Modern Golf Bags and look up “ubiquitous,” you’ll find the Titleist Players series.

Along with the PING Hoofer, the Titleist Players series golf bags might be the most ubiquitous stand bags in golf. They are, quite literally, everywhere.

Titleist is updating the Players line this week with three new models: the Players S4, the S4 StayDry™ and the S5.

Titleist Players stand bags

According to Titleist, each bag represents a ground-up redesign for, let me check … ah, here it is:

“… enhanced quality, durability and on-course performance in premium, lightweight constructions.”

As that great naval hero Charles Beaumont Parker once said:

Gee, I love that kind of talk.

What’s so new about the new Titleist Players bags?

Visually speaking, not much at all. That’s one of the things we like about Titleist Players stand bags: the look is, for lack of a better word, timeless. The familiar Titleist script and understated, utilitarian visuals fit the brand perfectly.

That ground-up redesign, according to the company, is entirely functional and comes from what it’s calling “extensive golfer insights and in-depth player testing.”

Specifically, Titleist has redesigned the stand system to improve leg deployment and stability. There’s a new top cuff design with full-length dividers to keep your clubs from tangling. Titleist has upgraded its double-strap system for better balance and weight distribution (any experienced walker will tell you balance is just as important as weight, if not more so).

And, because it’s 2026, Titleist is joining the parade and including a quick-access magnetic pocket because, well, magnets rock.

Three new models

The new Titleist Players S4 stand bag weighs in at 4.8 pounds. It features the new four-way top cuff design with full-length dividers. Along with the new stand system and new strap system, it includes a larger hip pad for carrying comfort as well as a cart-strap tunnel for those days when you’d rather ride. It also features eight pockets, including the magnetic one.

The S4 StayDry™ is the exact same bag but is made from waterproof materials with seam-sealed zippers. It’s a wee bit heavier at five pounds.

The Titleist Players S5 stand bag has all of the same features as the S4 but features a five-way top and two more pockets for enhanced storage. It also weighs five pounds.

The standard Players S4 stand bag retails at $270 while the S4 StayDry™ sells for $340. The Players S5 goes for $310.

All three bags are on sale now. For more information, visit the Titleist website.
