ANNOUNCED! – Products For You To Review

A couple weeks ago we told you guys that we would soon be launching what we are calling “The MyGolfSpy Lottery”…which is a Reader Review Program that will allow YOU to review the same products we get to test out at MyGolfSpy. (If you did not get a chance to read this post…go have a look) We wanted a way to not only be able to give back to our readers but also supply them with additional un-biased reviews to help them in their decision making process regarding the equipment they purchase in the future.  And we received such an incredible response from both you the reader and the golf companies involved that we hope to continue this program for as long as we possibly can.

Over $3,500 Worth Of Gear!

And today we are announcing the list of products that you will get an opportunity to test out for yourselves!  This is just the 1st round of products and we think you are going to like what we have chosen.

All you have to do to be eligible is to join the New! MyGolfSpy Forum (It’s FREE) and then have 10 posts inside the forum…that’s it!

I would LOVE to have the opportunity to try out the Dandy putter, special version that is the top-of-the-line custom model. I bought a Dandy Pro blade model two months ago and my official USGA golf handicap index has dropped from 11.3 to 6.1 and is still shrinking. This putter fells better than a Cameron or any other expensive putter I have used ever, including, but not limited to, Yes!, Nike, Calloway, Oddesy, and several other brands of lesser names.

Simply put, the physics of this putter cannot be topped. In addition, there are training aids available that really work to help improve your stroke if you use them. Several in my golf gang are going to look into this putter because my putting is no fluke and they know it.

I do have a question for MGS: how do we test the shaft? Will it be built into a club for us to hit?

This isn’t really a question, but an observation for those of us playing from the “wrong” side of the ball… the 2nd generation Prophet ICT driver doesn’t come in lefty. The older (uglier, in my opinion) model does, though…

I already own the Tacki-Macs…. All I have to say is BUY THEM! Not only are they made in the USA, they’re just as advertised… tacky (in a good way) and last a while. Only complaints I have is:

      1. unless you’re REALLY into cleaning your grips (more than normal, almost OCD-level cleaning) don’t buy the white model. Dirt shows up fast and often.
      2. every grip I’ve bought from them has been over weight. Obviously, there are manufacturing tolerances. If you’re a clubmaker, make sure you weigh your grips beforehand (goes without saying, really); if you buy them as part of a complete club order, try asking to make sure they have your swingweight where it’s right for you- the grip might make it feel lighter than what it’s supposed to be.

I like the idea of the contest for improving the sites “readership”. I am not very regular for viewing the site, what constitutes a post and what have been some of the best and worst products to review in the past?

Well we hope you become a regular reader Ronald. Take a look around the site…lots of articles and info.

A post is a reply to another thread on the forum or a thread you start yourself. Go on their and get to meet some of the guys I think you will enjoy it.

We’ll actually learn something here….as some of the products are new.

If we go to all the links and learn about the products, we’ll be better advised.

Please note that your link for the Taylormade Ghost putter is actually going to Cobra’s website.
You may want to correct this.
