The MyGolfSpy Lottery! – (READER REVIEW PROGRAM)

FREE EQUIPMENT FOR MYGOLFSPY READERS TO TEST!

Huh…waaa…what…are you serious??

WAIT!!!  Before you go to the bathroom to grab your ear hair clippers or Q-Tips to make sure you are hearing everything ok…save yourself a trip…you really did hear us right…we are going to be giving you guys the equipment to review for FREE!

I mean really…the entire reason we created MyGolfSpy in the first place was purely for you the consumer anyway…so…we decided it was time to allow you guys to have the same type of insider’s access to the same type of gear and golf equipment that we do.  Sound Good?

We thought you might like the idea!

What We Are Working On

If for some reason I did not respond to an email or phone call over the weekend…I apologize…there was good reason though.  That is because over the weekend we locked ourselves inside the unofficial MGS Think Tank…a dark, gloomy, smoke filled, low lit room (no, not a gentleman’s club) with nothing but paper…pencil and 1 goal in mind.  How can we give our readers the same type of experience and opportunity that we have day in and day out at MyGolfSpy HQ’s.

We went back and forth with ideas and concepts that ranged from the truly outlandish to the amazingly ground-breaking…which could only come from the minds of a sleep deprived & sugar mainlined brain.  But when all was said and done with the all-night think tank session the idea that prevailed was actually quite simple (most good ideas are)…and it answered what most golfers would like the opportunity to do…test new golf equipment they might not otherwise have the chance to.  So it was decided…we were going to give our readers the chance to hit and review the same type of equipment we do.

So What’s The Catch?

Well nothing really…all you have to do is join the new MyGolfSpy Forum (100% FREE).  And the reason for that is simple…the forum allows for much more content to be released in comparison to the MGS blog.  Typically on the blog we post about 3-4 times a week in an attempt to not overwhelm your inboxes.  But with the Forum there can be hundreds of new posts every week which can be shared by you the golfer with other golfers all around the world.  And this also gives the companies we receive equipment from a great chance to get additional honest reviews from the everyday golfer on MyGolfSpy.

This new Reader Review Program we conceived will begin very soon…we have already begun to put together an incredible list of products for you guys to get your hands on and test out for yourselves!

We are finalizing the first round of products as we speak (some great stuff is included…Nike Method Putters are just one of the pieces on the list)…and when we are done we will put up the list on the forum for you guys to see.

How It Will Work (The MyGolfSpy Lottery System)

Once the list is posted we will assign an individual number for each product we have that only we know (1-100). Then you guys will get to put in one entry with the number of your choice (1-100). Whichever one of you guess closest to the number related to one of the products on the list will get that product sent to you for you to do a review on. (Don’t pick your number just yet…we will notify you when it’s time)

Some of the products will be yours to keep after the review (yes…FREE gear!)…while other products will be forwarded on to other members for them to get a chance to test out and review for themselves on the forum. Those products will then be sent back to us after 3 members have reviewed them and we will then run contests for you guys to have a chance to win all that gear!

RULES

1. If two members choose the same number…the first one to have posted the number in the forum will be the one to receive that product.
2. Members who receive equipment must be able to do a review of the product for the forum which includes pictures and a detailed review with your opinion on the gear/equipment.  If you cannot do this the person with the next closest number will receive the product.
3. Once products have been reviewed that get forwarded on to other members…we will re-post that product with the same number system for the next member to receive. You will be responsible for shipping costs to other members (sorry).

4. Once the products that get forwarded to other members have been reviewed 3 times they will be shipped back to MyGolfSpy. And we will run contests for you to have a chance to win all the gear/equipment.
5. Clubs being forwarded must be sent in the same condition you received them.
6. They need to be shipped in a timely manner to the next recipient.
7. This is for US residents only.
7. To enter you will need to be a member of the forum (it’s free) and have a minimum of 10 posts. (So hurry up and go join now!)

P.S. – We will post a new article on the blog when we announce the gear to be reviewed!

Isn’t this just going to get a ton of pointless posts in the forum, like 1st post, 2nd post.
Moderators should delete posts like these as really they shouldn’t count as posts. I can also think of other ways this can go wrong but I’m sure you guys didn’t set this up without knowing what ye were doing. Best of luck to all of those that enter.

Ed – you first have to become a member of the MyGolfSpy Forum and the required 10 posts is for inside the forum not the blog. Sorry for the confusion. Here is the link:

Sounds like a great idea! You can check out my web site (Slammer&Squire is our current showcase course) and see what we area about. Our motto is “Know the Course Before You Play”. I photograph courses throughout the U.S. and Canada and am currently around Hilton Head Island area and will be going to Virginia Beach/Williamsburg area, Maryland, NJ, then Charleston and wintering in Longs, SC near over 140 courses. Next year we plan on being up in the far Northeast and stopping in PEI (Prince Edward Island)(already have 9 courses on board). Some of the courses that will be coming are the courses at Innisbrook Resort, Crosswinds, Lost Plantation, Sanctuary Cove, Shipyard, Oyster Reef, Port Royal, Rose Hill and Island West.
My site grows every month and more and more people stop in to check it out (public/member areas). Over 260 courses up from 20 states and 2 provinces. Great golf calendar, send me your tournaments and I will add them, links to some great sites and lessons by pros.
