Massive pay gap between male and females. Yes, I know, I’m stating the obvious. But only because it’s so bloody obvious.

I don’t know that it’s a pay gap between male and female – just a factor of popularity and revenue. Look at the Champions and Korn Ferry tour leaders, both of which are male. They are just less popular tours, bringing in less revenue. If it was based on gender I’d expect them to also outpace Nelly, but she’s got them beat.

Seems like it’s about even when you compare the viewership numbers- just to grab a random one, Sunday for the LPGA US Open had a little under a million viewers, and Sunday on the men’s side had almost 6 million. So a 6x viewership difference. Looks like the pay gap is about 6x as well if you roughly compare each of the top 5.
