Most Googled Golf Balls Of 2025

Here are the top five most-Googled golf balls of 2025. You can look at this list in one of two ways. These might be the golf balls generating the most curiosity. However, they could also be the golf balls everyone wants to try and find a deal on.

Top 5 most-Googled golf balls in 2025

Vice is the most Googled golf ball so far this year. Given their success and fair pricing, it’s not surprising that they’re near the top.

Vice made some changes to its golf ball lineup last year, adding the Vice Pro Air. Vice offers discounts when you purchase golf balls in bulk, so if you find a model you like, you can save some money.

3. Callaway Golf Balls
4. Srixon Golf Balls
5. TaylorMade Golf Balls

Titleist released the 2025 Pro V1 and Pro V1x models earlier this year. The new models claim to offer more speed, more control, and better wedge spin around the greens.

Rounding out the top five are Callaway, Srixon, and TaylorMade golf balls. Some names that didn’t make the top five include Bridgestone, Mizuno, and Maxfli.

I like and play the Vice ball. I did find a cheap bunch balls for regular play this year to try out but will go back to vice if I don’t find something cheaper or far superior. My eyes aren’t great and the bright green are easier for me to see.

“Most Googled” can indicate a few things.. I’d argue that new golfers are more likely to use Google search for golf balls. Seasoned players typically know what they want. Possible that this list reflects a surge of new and/or youthful players..? This list probably points more towards marketing tactics than anything. We would need to see more context to really understand what’s going on here.

I wonder how many people buy Vice balls direct from Vice versus Amazon. It’s cheaper if you’re a Prime member at Amazon. I’m only guessing but maybe some of the googling has to do with limited edition balls.

You raised two options to what the results could mean, but offer no followup insights. So the obvious follow-up question is what conclusions can/should be drawn? Why are the number of Google searches important (other than to denote a popularity contest) and how does this impact me as a golfer? Maybe this information can help you triage and prioritize which golf balls should be evaulated in future Ball Labs. The last Ball Lab was 9 months ago and it’s about time for MGS to crank up them again. The Ball Labs were something that offered true value to your readers.

Possible explanation. If I want to research a golf ball like Titleist I might Google it once and go to the store or login to Amazon. If I want Vice I might Google it once for research but then I would Google it every time I place an order to get to the website.
Not so much a curiosity thing as just the mechanics of buying from the most popular DTC.

Would that be enough to overcome the (I’m assuming) significantly greater number of people searching the big names?

I have no data. Just curious.

Guess what, you can buy Titleist on line too, and all the others on the list, so each time you do that you would Google it again

I’ve started playing the Vice Pro and Pro Plus (switched from long term user Srixon XV Divide). IMO the Vice balls feel a bit softer and are clearly longer at my driver swing speed in the mid 80’s.

Except for Vice, it shows most rely on the old school route of sticking with name brands. I definitely am not one of those, and not a fan of Vice either.

I’m shocked that Vice topped the list. I think they’re great, by the way. I just didn’t think they had the name recognition to beat the big names.

Also a little surprised that Kirkland didn’t make the list.
