What To Know Before You Buy The Srixon ZXi Driver

Srixon golf clubs often fly under the radar but the new ZXi drivers want to change that. While we’ve done a detailed write-up on these 2025 releases, this guide focuses on the essentials. Here’s what you need to know to determine whether these drivers deserve a spot in your testing lineup for 2025. With cutting-edge technology and a refined design, the new Srixon ZXi driver might just surprise you.

What’s new

The Srixon ZXi features a new Ti72S titanium face, a dual-layer trampoline system and an adjustable hosel that offers 12 straightforward settings.

Ti72S titanium face

The Srixon ZXi introduces Ti72S titanium, an upgrade from the previous Ti51AF. This new face material is lighter and stronger. Engineers were able to design a thinner face that promotes higher ball speeds without compromising durability.

Double trampoline technology

The Rebound Frame in the ZXi drivers uses a dual-layer trampoline system to optimize energy transfer. Combined with the precision-engineered i-Flex face pattern, the goal is greater consistency across the face and a lot more speed. For the amateur golfer, the benefit would be longer and more consistent drives.

Simplified adjustable hosel

The ZXi drivers feature an entirely redesigned hosel system. The new loft-based system offers 12 straightforward settings. The new hosel should make it easier for the average golfer to make adjustments to their ball flight.

What options do you have?

Srixon ZXi drivers

The Srixon ZXi has three models: the ZXi, ZXi MAX and the ZXi LS.

  • ZXi: A balanced option offering speed, forgiveness and spin control for a wide range of golfers.
  • ZXi MAX: Srixon’s most forgiving driver to date with high MOI and added spin for players needing stability.
  • ZXi LS: A low-spin model designed for aggressive swingers looking to maximize distance.

What matters

One of the biggest benefits of the new Srixon lineup is the fitting based on spin needs. The three models are specifically designed as balanced spin, high spin and low spin.

Combine that with the adjustability and finding a Srixon driver that works for your game should be easier.

What we aren’t sure about

While we have yet to test the Srixon ZXi drivers, the new sound Srixon has mentioned is one thing to keep an eye (or ear) on. The sound is more like a PING-style “clink.” It may not appeal to all golfers but it may be worth getting used to in exchange for the faster and better-performing clubface.

Key details

All three models of the Srixon 2025 drivers will retail for $549.99. They hit stores on Jan. 24.

Standard shaft options include Fujikura Ventus TR Blue, Project X Denali Red 50 and HZRDUS Black.

Final thoughts

Combining new materials, impressive engineering and multiple fitting options makes them the most compelling drivers Srixon has released in years.

Ping sound is probably ok for most people that would play it, the Ping turbulators would be a non-starter for many more people.
