A bit out of date now I guess, but I have bought myself the S3 Driver after testing it against the S2.
The main difference I really noticed was the stock Shaft, the S2 shaft was just too whippy for me, the S3 feels much more solid and I am noticing much greater accuracy and that all important distance.

I know Cobra might not make too many more player’s clubs, but I wouldn’t mind having a driver like the Pro Deep in an adjustable version. I never got to try the original, but I bet it’s sick and now I need a driver! Too bad the S3 looks even bigger than the S2, but not bad I guess.

Hopefully Puma has improved on the stock shaft options. Every S2 I put on a frequency machine measured at best to senior flex. Heads look good though.

Looks like the Puma designers nixed all the old cobra designs on the top of the club. Looks good. Is that…a deep face? I won’t give up my S9-1 Pro D unless this one can show significant improvement. Will this come in Ricky Fowler hunting safety orange?

Cobra has the same design team, Puma didn’t touch the R and D dept….S3 driver is very solid

Looks very clean, no scallops on top. Very nice solid looking stick. Any news on stock shaft options?

Its hard to make a driver look better than the S2 IMO. these are pretty nice though.

I am gonna have to test this one out for sure. The S2 tested as one of our best drivers this year. If this is any better might be my new driver.

Hmmm… any word on these? Is there really anything other than cosmetic differences between the S-2 and S-3??

Other than the cosmetics… doubtful. But hey, since they won’t compare them side-to-side (other than their marketing schtick) you’ll have to take their word for it.

There is more than a cosmetic difference between the S3 and 2 … S3’s “sweet spot’ is positioned more middle of the club face working diagonally towards the toe, since most mis-hits for the average player are off the toe robbing them of distance. compared to the S2 where it’s sweet spot is in the middle and is positioned vertically crown to sole

I purchased this cluba couple weeks ago and It is absolutely amazing. This coming from a guy of an average drive of only 275. I added an amazing 35 yards on average by switching to this driver. It is the sexiest driver I have ever owned. Shaft seems solid. I swing a stiff and can work the ball both ways. Never a suprise hook or fade. Club head seems to produce just the right amount of spin the ball seems to balloon just at the very last second to push it out that extra distance. This driver was not in the budget but after I hit it and saw what kinda difference it was gunna make in my game I had no option but to buy it.
