#SpyStaffSlam – The Open Championship Edition: Win a Set of Wilson Staff Irons

The Open Championship crosses the Irish Sea next week to Royal Portrush for the first time in 68 years. In case anyone asks, Max Faulkner won that one, but who’s the favorite for the year’s final Major?

Is it Brooks, who already won this year’s PGA and finished second at both the Masters and U.S. Open? Does Rory have any sort of Northern Irish home-court advantage? Can Francesco repeat? Any magic left for Tiger or Phil? Or could it be any of the so-called Best-Players-To-Never-Win-A-Major, like Kooch, Rickie, Hideki, Tommy Fleetwood or John Rahm?

No matter what happens, it’s sure to be some compelling golf and MyGolfSpy, along with the good folks at Wilson Staff, would love to add a little more drama to your weekend with the fourth and final installment of our annual #SpyStaffSlam contest. To enter you have to sashay on over to the MyGolfSpy Community Forum, pick a team and grab your popcorn.

First prize is a fully customized set of Wilson Staff irons – anything from the all-new long and forgiving D7’s and C300’s to the C300 Forged and the FG Tour V6. It’s your choice.

Call Me Intrigued!

The contest is pretty simple to enter. You pick a 4-person team, and if your team combines to win to the most total prize money, you win too. As we said, 1st prize is a full set of Wilson Staff irons custom built to your specs, 2nd prize is a Wilson D7 driver, and 3rd prize is a dozen Wilson DUO golf balls (Professional, Soft or Soft Spin – your choice of color).

FREE FITTING

Wilson Staff, as you know, just copped its 62nd major, courtesy of Gary Woodland’s masterful performance at Pebble Beach. Could he do it again? Can Kevin Streelman turn a last-minute invite into a Claret Jug? Or could Padraig Harrington turn back the clock on his home island and win a third Open Championship?

Pour yourself a spot of tea or a pint of Guinness – it should be a great show.

Note: this contest is open to any MyGolfSpy reader from the US and Canada.

How To Enter:

It’s easy to enter, but make sure to read carefully and follow the directions to the letter, so you don’t miss out.

First, if you haven’t already, you must join the MyGolfSpy Community Forum (click here to sign up).

Next, in the official MyGolfSpy #SpyStaffSlam Open Championship Contest Thread in the Community Forum (click here), select and enter your team from the provided tiers. You’ll also need to enter your tiebreakers, just in case.

It’s pretty simple, but make sure to enter your selections only in the contest thread in the Community Forum. We’ll announce the winners in that thread Monday after the Open.

You won’t get a Claret Jug, but then again, a trophy isn’t going to help you knock it stiff from 160!
