Testers Wanted: TaylorMade Qi35 Driver And Fairway Wood

TaylorMade’s Qi35 series is an exciting addition to their lineup, featuring drivers and fairway woods that blend innovative technology with tailored performance for a wide range of golfers. With four distinct models in each category, the Qi35 clubs are designed to maximize distance, forgiveness and customization. This should allow golfers to find a setup that fits their unique swing characteristics. To put it to the test, we’re seeking four Forum members worldwide to test and review a Qi35 driver and fairway wood and share honest feedback about their performance.

Models in the Qi35 lineup

Qi35 Drivers:

  1. Qi35 Standard: The core model designed to provide a balanced combination of distance and forgiveness, suitable for a wide range of players.
  2. Qi35 Max: Offers the highest moment of inertia (MOI) in the lineup for maximum forgiveness on off-center hits.
  3. Qi35 Max Lite: A lighter version of the Max, designed to increase swing speed and optimize distance for players needing extra help generating speed.
  4. Qi35 LS (Low Spin): Engineered for golfers seeking to lower spin rates for a more penetrating ball flight and optimized distance.

Qi35 fairway woods:

  1. Qi35 Standard: A versatile option designed for consistent distance and reliable launch from a variety of lies.
  2. Qi35 Max: Provides added forgiveness with a larger head design, ideal for golfers seeking extra confidence off the turf or tee.
  3. Qi35 Max Lite: A lightweight fairway wood that promotes increased swing speed. Perfect for players looking for an extra edge in distance.
  4. Qi35 Tour: A compact design aimed at better players seeking precision, workability and control.

Key features:

  • Carbon crown technology: Lightweight carbon crown redistributes weight for improved launch conditions and forgiveness.
  • Adjustable hosel: Offers customizable loft and lie settings for the driver and fairway wood to fine-tune ball flight and performance.
  • High MOI design: Maximizes stability and forgiveness, working to ensure more consistent results even on off-center strikes.
  • Aerodynamic shaping: Refined head shapes reduce drag and increase clubhead speed for enhanced distance.
  • Optimized sweet spot: Face designs tailored for each model enhance forgiveness and deliver consistent performance across the face.

What you’ll be testing

Selected testers will receive a Qi35 driver and fairway wood for testing. We’re looking for golfers to evaluate the clubs’ distance, forgiveness, adjustability and overall playability. Does TaylorMade’s Qi35 lineup deliver on its promises? Your feedback will help provide valuable insights to the golfing community.

Currently playing the 8 degree QI10 LS with a Ventus black stiff shaft and love it. I would greatly appreciate trying the 35 in the 8 degree LS also. Pretty attached to my Ventus shaft but I would test any stiff shaft sent. Throw in a 3 wood tour would be ideal as it’s the closest step up to my current Taylor made fairway wood.

I have been playing a Srixon Z 765 driver and a Tour Edge CBX5 3wd for four season now. I have tested a couple other drivers over the last couple of years but didn’t see a marked difference in performance. I haven’t tried a Taylormade driver since the original M1. Would really like the opportunity to put this newest Taylormade offering through the passes.
