Testers Wanted – Titleist Golf Ball Field Test

TESTERS WANTED

MyGolfSpy is offering it’s readers an opportunity to participate in a blind field test. Testers will play with and use two Titleist balls, one of which is unreleased to the public and has only been used on tour. The kicker is that testers won’t know which is which.

The objective is to determine whether amateur golfers can distinguish what is unique about each ball. Testers will provide feedback that will be shared with Titleist.

BECOME A TESTER

We’re looking for twenty-four MyGolfSpy readers to test, review and keep two dozen Titleist golf balls.

Head to the Titleist golf balls blind testing thread in the forum to apply.

This testing opportunity is open golfers who live anywhere Titleist products can be shipped.

I’m a 22 handicap, play twice a week with what ever lake balls the pro shop has ???? bomb drives 300+ yards (150 offline) can nut a 7 iron nearly 200 (by nut I mean knife ????) . Would love the chance to have a go at testing a ball but would probably loose it before I’ve had a chance to really see what it’s like so if you pick me, just be sure to send a few balls just incase. ????

“The objective is to determine whether amateur golfers can distinguish what is unique about each ball. ”

The bottom of the “T” on ball B is partially ghosted, possibly due to the logo being slightly tilted when placed on the tee.

I’m detail oriented, play/practice frequently and work at a golf course. Thank you for your consideration.

I would absolutely love to be a Titleist golf ball tester! I’m on a 8.5 handicap and play at least two times a weeks. I’ve been an avid Titleist golf ball fan for over a decade and truly trust the brand. My current gamer is the 2021 Titleist Pro V1., to which I love its longer distance off the tee, consistent ball flight, and soft feel. It’s winter right now in NZ so I could offer Titleist valuable feedback on how their golf balls perform in winter conditions. Thanks for your consideration!

Been searching all year for a “go to” ball – a Goldilocks mission of sorts.

      12.3 handicap.

Use Titleist TS2 driver and fairway woods; ping G400 hybrids and irons and Vokey SM7 wedges. Evnroll putter.

      This year

Played Titleist PV1, PV1x and AVX

And Taylormade TP5 and tour response

      And Maxfli Tour and TourX

      Still searching ….

      Thanks.

The ball is the Pro V1 Left Dot which is currently only available to Tour players.. Different playing characteristics than the Pro V1. The Pro V1x Left Dash was previously only for Tour players however it is now available to the public. The Pro V1x Left Dash is a firmer ball that spins less and a great wind ball.

I’m a 13 handicap with potential to be better. Play a couple different ball. Pro v1 and srizon zxv
I also like the avx. So trying a new ball would be exciting.

Hi. I am new to the mygolfspy forum. I joined to get opportunities to try new products. I am a 10.3 hcp and age 55+. Working on my swing but would love to test out a new titlist ball. I currently hit tp5 balls but at one time hit pro v1. I play in a weekly league as well as a weekly blitz game and on Saturdays. The course I normally play is relatively tight so would give me a good picture to review. Course is closing 7/31 though, so on to another at some point. Hope i get the opportunity. Thanks

10 handicap that primarily plays Snell which is a very strong alternative to pricey ProV1 with little if any difference. Would love to test provided it is the right ball for moderate swing speed.

I’d be happy to test it! I’m a 10 handicap and an average golfer. I’ve been playing the Maxfli Tour because of your last Golf Lab Project. You can’t beat the price and the review. The 2019 Maxfli Tour stole the entire show… Please send a few extra since my miss is a hook in the tree’s…

I love playing Titleist Pro V1 balls. They always seem to magically drop directly over the green and stick when you think you’ve over cooked it. I’m a 10 handicap and would enjoy being a tester.

Are Titleist really the best balls? I sure we will all have our own opinions. I’ve always thought it doesn’t matter what one you use, you must jave the skill set to play the shots you need and ball doesn’t really matter unless it’s soon rubbish 1 piece ball

There’s no best ball for everyone, but there is probably a best ball for each player in terms of specs, and some balls are just objectively better in terms of quality, and on both the best ball for a lot of the best players in the world tends to be a Titleist ProV1 or ProV1x. A lot of them get paid to play Titleist balls, of course, but a pretty good indicator is how many tour players play those balls who aren’t under contract to do so.. The boiled-down version of the quality bit is that while a well-made ball isn’t going to suddenly make your bad shots good, a poorly-made ball will sometimes fail to reward your best shots.
