The Best “His And Hers” Golf Shoe Brands

If your partner golfs, there’s no shame in rocking the same gear. It’s reputable, convenient and (cringey or not) kind of cute.

Some golf brands don’t sell women’s footwear, ruling them out of this “his and hers” comparison. I’ve identified three major brands that are perfect for the golf power couple. Whether you’re looking to twin on the course or surprise your spouse, these brands have the golf shoes for you.

G/FORE

I’ll be honest. G/FORE doesn’t make the best golf shoes in the game. In fact, they’re far from it.

That being said, G/FORE is a solid option for those looking to match their spouse on the course. G/FORE dominates the women’s shoe market with around a dozen options for ladies hitting the links. To put it into perspective, this is roughly 30 percent more women’s options than adidas.

adidas

If we’re playing the comparison game, G/FORE golf shoes are your driver (drive for show) and adidas golf shoes are your putter (putt for dough).

adidas clears G/FORE in terms of performance by leaps and bounds but features a slightly smaller selection in terms of a “his and hers” type catalog.

Featured above is the adidas Adipower 26. The Adipower 26 is available for men and women and is currently tracking to be a top-three contender for 2026.

NIKE Golf

adidas might take the cake in performance, and G/FORE might rule in terms of luxury style, but NIKE clears them both in terms of quantity.

I counted roughly two dozen options for both men and women that are readily available year-round. NIKE doesn’t make the best golf shoes in the game but you’ll find gold with specific models like the Victory Pro 4.

If you’re looking for something familiar and comfortable, NIKE is a safe bet when shopping golf shoes for you and your spouse.

Final thoughts

Don’t feel like you have to limit yourself to adidas, NIKE and G/FORE. There are plenty of other OEMs that cater to both men and women.

If you’re not into twinning, don’t be afraid to mix and match as well. If you want to rock a pair of NIKEs and your spouse prefers G/FORE, there’s no shame in that. Some golf shoes help specific types of feet. Take Skechers for example: they’ll help take the majority of your pain away with instantaneous comfort. You might be looking for that but your spouse may not.

A good place to start would be with a pair of golf shoes that one of you already loves. If it works for one of you, there’s a chance it will work for both of you. Take note of where your feet are usually the most sore and create a list of your top priorities starting with comfort and ranging all the way to traction.

His & her golf shoes? Nah, that’s so lame. It just means your ‘whipped’.
