I’ve got the ltdx ls. What amazes me is how friendly off center hits are. Older LS drivers punishes folks not making center contact. I’ve gained 15 yards on drives and it has opened more mid to low iron plays and wedge plays. And im not even that good! Best was 9.8 handicap before wife’s pregnancy and first born… now im trying to work doen the 12 to single digits.

Be careful what you ask for because you might get it. I purchased a new top of the line driver a few months back. From a distance stand point I actually lost a few yards as my backspin increased. The increased backspin reduced the amount the ball curves especially on slightly off center hits. Distance is great no doubt, I still have plenty to reach par 4’s in two and go for the occasional par 5. The increased accuracy allows me to swing freer and score better. Which face it is the goal.

I made the mistake of testing the Aerojet LS last summer at a demo day – it destroyed my M5. Yes, I did purchase one and love it. It’s super consistent for me but it’s got some secret sauce where once every round or so I get a drive that’s 20-30 yds longer than normal. I average 250-260 carry at altitude and I’ll end up with a 320+ drive. Can’t complain about that.
      $300 is a steal!!

What a deal, my big question is how did it fare in the 2024 test, surely you bring last years winner into the room with all the newcomers?
