This Golf Glove Has Lasted Me All Summer

Earlier this year, I tested the best overall golf glove of 2026 and found that its durability was much lower than I expected.

Once that glove was toast, it was time to put on another one and it happened to be the IDAKA Moccasin Icon Glove.

The fit performed slightly below the best of the best but not poorly enough to garner a bad score overall. The Moccasin Icon Glove took minimal time to break in and I noticed it becoming more “one with my skin” the more I played. That “second-skin” feeling is what we search for in a golf glove and I found it extremely quickly with the Moccasin Icon.

As time went on, I could hardly tell I was wearing a golf glove. That’s the Holy Grail when it comes to golf gloves. After roughly two months, the Moccasin Icon Glove is still holding its own.

As always, proper storage will increase the life of your glove. I play in a hot and sweaty climate and have gotten used to crumpled-up golf gloves. If you store your glove in a cool, dry space or place it back in its original packaging, it will maintain its shape for longer.
