Top 50 Earners on the PGA Tour (2024)

It’s no surprise to see Scottie Scheffler at the top of the 2024 PGA Tour money list. Theoretically, with more than $5 million in earnings this season, his caddie Ted Scott would earn a spot on this list as well. (Caddies are not eligible, of course.)

The average PGA Tour player earned just over $1.9 million this year, with more than 70 players surpassing that mark. Some names are familiar due to multiple wins while others earned their place with consistent performances throughout the season.

Nick Dunlap, despite winning two events, didn’t crack the top 50. Chris Gotterup, winner of the Myrtle Beach Classic, finished 104th, well below the Tour’s average earnings for the year.

Here’s a look at the top 50 earners on the PGA Tour in 2024.

Every comment I read almost every comment I read sounded like it was written by a bunch of petty childish jughead haters. I doubt any of you know any of these guys nor do you put the effort into knowing the person behind what you see on the golf course . do you have to do your job in front of thousands of people and with cameras broadcasting Every little thing you do? Good or bad to millions of viewers watching at home? No you don’t but you can sit here and make these nasty comments about shit that you don’t even know, grow up educate yourself and then maybe in 15 to 20 years come back and leave a comment until then go back home to your parents basement and play Fortnite, pricks.

I get he is not on the tour, but Bryson won over 6 mil. PGA affiliated events. He makes the list.

I can’t stand Keegan Bradley or Bob McIntyre. Both just seem totally arrogant tossers to me.

All the players on the PGA Tour are a bunch of spoiled millionaires. They feel like they are entitled to free cars, massive locker room buffets, free equipment, massage services, and all the other freebies that they scoop up without thanks or appreciation. Go to a tournament only a few of them spend anytime with the fans. Guys like Rory and Ricky sign for hours while the rest of the crew sneaks off to their hotel or rented house. More than the players, the broadcasters are more annoying to me. A bunch of talking heads that rarely have useful or interesting to say. And all the networks use the same format, three guys at a desk, some on the course group followers, and a female to do interviews with the players without asking anything of depth. No wonder viewership is way down for golf. Boring and annoying.

Bro, what is the problem ? Do
Actually know any of the players of which you speak about? These guys put in a lot of work to make a living, they spend 3/4 of the year away from their family. They have to pay their caddies their coaches , travel expenses, hotel or quote rented homes. There are guys like Tommy Fleetwood who has yet to win since he’s joined the PGA tour. Now I do see how One looking from the outside might think that these guys have it made but I know how hard it is both physically mentally and also emotionally, go three years without winning a tournament and see how taxing that can be on a person psyche. Hey man, the grass is always greener on the other side. I don’t know what you do for a living but if someone posted online about what you do, how you did it without knowing you, just a dick move. Educate yourself before hating someone else

Patrick C. I was at the AMEX 2 years ago an he hit a ball beyond the Green and a little left. It hit a lady and bounced to the side. He comes up and sees his ball. He mad and saying this cannot be my ball, how did it get here. A fan tells him it hit a lady and bounced there. He was still mad and didn’t ask anything about the lady’s condition. And then there is the slow play!

Most of the annoying players have moved to LIV. Bryson, Reed, Rahm, Phil, Bubba, they are so full of themselves and their growing the game. Their only game is their wallets. Cantlay is just so slow and plodding he probably gets my nod

Most pros on the PGA TOUR are boredom personified and many Tour events are just a massive yawn fest played by entitled Prima Donnas.

No one on the PGA Tour really bothers me, but my most-hated pro is Bryson DeChambeau. He is the antithesis of Scottie Scheffler. Anyone who tries to show off and ham it up for the crowd is a jerk Scottie cooly goes about seeking pins, making birdies and lets his golf be the show. Although he did kind of pop off against Tom Kim. But that was OK.

Im sorry for you that you don’t like Bryson. He by far is my favorite golfer, if you haven’t already you should check out his you tube channel. The guy puts out some great stuff. He has over came a lot to get to the point he is at now. He is an amazing golfer that doesn’t get the credit he should. He is for sure in the top 5 in the world, but they will never give him that because he isn’t part of the cult known as the pga tour.

Patrick Cantlay, without a doubt. He comes off as an arrogant, spoiled, country club brat. Not to mention he doesn’t win many tournaments events. I always root against him. And that bit about the hats not fitting properly as his reason for not wearing one…I don’t buy it. And the rumor about wanting to be paid for playing in the Ryder Cup…I believe there’s some truth to it.

The most annoying player is: It’s all about me Patrick Cantley! He wouldn’t cut it in our group, in short; one of us would say just hit the damn ball so we can finish before dark!

McIlroy, because all you hear is how great he is and he hasn’t won a major in 10 years. When he gets that close, he should be able to finish at least one of them off. Schauffle, because in my opinion he takes advantage of the new rule on the greens and basically makes a trough to the hole with his aggressive tamp down of the marks.

I watch the PGA Tour and certainly can appreciate how good these guys are. But I don’t understand the facination with how much money they make. Why should I care? Why would knowing how much money they play for would enhance my viewing experience? I don’t care about purses and I certainly don’t care about the Fed Ex cup. Means nothing to me. Good for the players, but why should I care?

I would agree that Patrick Cantley is the most annoying on tour especially after the whole “no hat” thing at the Ryder Cup.
