Vokey SM9 U.S. and Europe Ryder Cup Wedges

While Vokey isn’t saying “Ryder Cup”, I think we can assume the U.S. and European flag engravings now available on Vokey SM9 wedges have something to do with everyone’s favorite international competition.

Through Oct. 13, the U.S. and European flags are available as custom engraving options on any SM9 wedge. The caveat is that it has to be brushed steel.

Loft and Grind Options

The finish options are limited but, otherwise, all options are on the table. The flag engravings are available on all 25 retail lofts and grinds and in both right- and left-handed.

And, yes, that includes my favorite lob wedge option, the T Grind.

Each wedge includes the option of adding a match shaft band.

While, as noted, Vokey isn’t saying “Ryder Cup”, Vokey staff players in the competition will receive a custom SM9 wedge laser-etched with the appropriate flag.

I already have an American flag on my arm (from my military service), so I don’t think I need another one on my wedge! Interesting concept though.
