Inside The Ropes w/ Bob Vokey
When you’re talking about wedges there aren’t many names that come up before the name Vokey. The man has been grindin’ wedges since the 70’s and been designing some of the most popular wedges for Titleist since ’96. And we figured the MyGolfSpy readers would like a closer look at man behind the wedge and the “Workshop” that pumps out all these bunker beaters.
Below is a special look at the “Vokey Workshop” provided to us by Titleist Tour Blog and also a video to give you a little more insight into how the Vokey name got started. And oh yeah…by the way…here’s a tidbit of info about the man. Mr. Vokey actually played Pro Football…he was a receiver and safety for the Quebec Rifles of the Continental Football League.
