Can you believe we’ve made it to 2026?
That means it has already been five months since we conducted our annual golf ball test (Presented by UNRL).
There’s been a lot of good things to come from the golf ball test this year. But my personal favorite, and perhaps one of the more forgotten storylines of the entire year, is the resurgence of the Kirkland Signature golf ball.
Yep, the Costco ball had a comeback this year and thanks to our industry-best robot testing, we were able to identify the new Kirkland Signature Performance+ golf ball as the best value golf ball of 2025.

So, where does that leave us?
The Kirkland Signature Performance+ is undoubtedly the best value golf ball of the year. And don’t you forget it.

Looking at the golf ball test results, the Kirkland ball is way behind the Pro V1 and the Wilson Staff for both driving distance and spin at all swing speeds – so I don’t understand this article. I can buy Wilson Staff for $99 for 3 dozen, so this is much better buy than the Kirkland.

Not way behind on slow swing speed. 2 yards less carry. Total isn’t significant since it depends on course conditions more than carry.
