Xander Has Made 62 Straight Cuts — Here’s What’s Stayed In His Bag (And What Hasn’t)

Since the 2022 Masters, Xander Schauffele hasn’t missed a cut. That’s 62 straight cuts and during that time, he became a two-time major champion. We dug into nearly three years of Xander Schauffele WITB archives to see what has stood the test of time in Xander’s bag — and what got the boot.

Driver evolution

During the period of these 62 cuts, Xander Schauffele went through four different driver models. What hasn’t changed is that they are all 10.5 degrees, tipped down slightly and feature the Mitsubishi Diamana PD shaft.

• 2023: Paradym Triple Diamond
• 2024: Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond
• 2025: Elyte Triple Diamond

New mini driver

In January 2025, Schauffele added a Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Ti 340 mini driver (13.5° @12.5°) to his bag. Mini drivers offer a blend of driver distance with 3-wood control. The mini driver is not replacing his Elyte Triple Diamond and he ended up going with the higher-launching 3-wood, likely to prevent an overlap in performance.

3-wood

When the mini driver came into the bag in 2025, Schauffele switched to the new Elyte HL with the Mitsubishi Diamana PD 80 TX shaft that he had used in fairway woods for years. The 3-wood is set at 16.5 degrees.

Irons: Callaway Apex TCB

The Callaway Apex TCB irons have been in Schauffele’s bag since at least 2022. He put a Mizuno MP-20 HMB 3-iron in play for about a year but left the TCB 4-PW intact this entire time. The irons have always had the True Temper Dynamic Golf Tour Issue X100 shafts.

Wedges

Schauffele (like many other professionals) seems to tweak the wedge setup based on tournament conditions. The Callaway Jaws Raw (52 degrees) stayed consistent until 2024–2025 when he switched to Callaway Opus.

He has always kept a Titleist sand and lob wedge in the mix. In the span of these 62 cuts, it has switched from the SM6 to the SM9 and now to the SM10 with custom loft and sole adjustments. He tends to favor a lower bounce in this 60-degree wedge.

Putter: Odyssey Toulon Las Vegas Prototype 7CH

Schauffele started playing with the Odyssey Toulon Las Vegas Prototype 7CH in January 2024. Before that, he had the O-Works #7 CH Red for years.

Grips: Golf Pride MCC Align + SuperStroke

Schauffele switched from the Tour Velvet Cord he had in play in 2022 to the Golf Pride MCC Align in 2023. He’s kept them the same since. He plays with the SuperStroke Traxion Zenergy Tour 2.0 and made that switch when he shifted to the Toulon Las Vegas putter.

Ball: Callaway (Various models)

While Schauffele has always played a Callaway ball, he switched from a Chrome Soft X Prototype to Chrome Tour for the 2024-2025 season. This year, he still has the Chrome Tour in play.

Final thoughts

With a player like Xander Schauffele, who’s had such a consistent three-year run, it’s interesting to look back and see how his equipment choices have supported that success. As a Callaway staff player, he’s stayed loyal to the brand throughout, with a touch of Titleist in his wedges. While the driver slot sees frequent turnover, his scoring clubs — especially irons and wedges — don’t change much.
