I know what you’re thinking. What the heck is StockX and what does it have to do with golf?
Footwear aficionados have been watching the exponential growth of this online sneaker marketplace. At its inception, StockX’s big selling point was the ability to sell rare, limited goods in a safe space where both the buyer and seller are protected against fraud.
Fast forward to now: StockX is much more than an online sneaker retailer. It seems StockX is tackling new goods and collectibles every week. From sports cards to electronics, StockX is the place to go to for limited, hard-to-find items.
Yes, you can buy a plethora of golf items from StockX—mostly rare golf shoes but there are plenty of golf accessories that you won’t see anywhere else. While StockX may be little known to you, I’ve been on the platform for years and am excited about the possibility of you finding your next favorite pair of golf kicks on the resale market.
From the rare to the forgotten, and everything in between, here are my top five picks of the week from StockX.
Jordan 5 Retro Low Golf “Black Grape”
My personal favorite Air Jordan ever is the Jordan 5 so naturally the golf variant of the famous basketball shoe is a hit in my book. In particular, the “Black Grape” colorway is stunning. I love the contrast of the black nubuck and the Grape and Emerald details. The best part about the the Jordan 5 Low Golf? The lace lock is equipped with a magnetic ball marker for a seamless way to mark that three-f00ter when your buddy won’t give it to you!
adidas Stan Smith Primegreen LE Spikeless Golf “Cow Print”
The hardcourt meets the course with the introduction of the adidas Stan Smith Primegreen LE Spikless Golf. The adidas Stan Smith has been a fashion staple for almost 60 years and only recently did adidas decide to give it tooling appropriate for the golf course. I’m a sucker for anything whimsical and different so naturally I’m really feeling the “Cow Print” colorway. If you’re not as bold as me, adidas does offer them in the traditional green and white variant. The design is “udderly” ridiculous but somehow it works!
Jordan 12 Low Golf “Masters”
We all love the majors, right? You probably love them for the golf. I love them for the shoes! NIKE and Jordan Brand always bring the heat for the majors, especially the Masters. Such was the case this year. Just look at this Masters-inspired Jordan 12 Low Golf. A well-earned spot in our Top 5 Golf Shoe Picks from StockX.
If you’re into sneakers, this pair really reminds me of the Jordan 12 “Wings” that came out in 2016. The gold accents mesh well with the pearly white leather upper. A special pair for a special tournament!
NIKE Air Zoom Infinity Tour NRG Ryder Cup “USA”
Just as they do for the majors, NIKE will generally bring out special kicks for the Ryder Cup and the Air Zoom Infinity Tour NRG just hits different in red, white and blue. Made famous by Brooks Koepka, the Air Zoom Infinity Tour is popular among the weekend warriors but, according to our resident professional golf shoe tester, they don’t quite live up to the hype.
Patriotism comes at a performance cost, I suppose? At least they look darned good!
Under Armour Curry 8 Spikeless Golf Shoes
For the last decade, Steph Curry has been known for the sound of a swishing net but the NBA star has plenty of golf game, too. So much so that Under Armour deviated from their typical Spieth-only lineup to introduce a Curry-branded golf shoe.
The Under Armour Curry 8 Spikeless golf shoes are the epitome of a hybrid shoe. Under Armour took the Curry 8 silhouette and made it course-ready, complete with a spikeless traction pattern and waterproofing treatment to keep your feet dry.
Two Must-Have Accessories Straight from StockX
I can’t give golf shoes all of the love. StockX is also a great place to buy rare accessories and clothing. Here are two golf accessories that I found interesting on StockX this week!
Kith TaylorMade TP Golf Glove
If you didn’t know what StockX was before reading this article, you probably have no idea what Kith is. Kith is a streetwear label created by sneaker icon Ronnie Fieg. While the brand has always been well known among the sneaker community, the golf world’s introduction to Kith was through the brand’s recent collaboration with TaylorMade.
The two brands partnered on a plethora of accessories, clothing, and even clubs (which were only offered in right-handed … I’m definitely not bitter). One of the more useful offerings here is the Kith x TaylorMade TP golf glove.
If you need more convincing, you might be interested in our recent head-to-head test of the effects of wearing a glove versus not.
NIKE x Drake NOCTA Golf Cap
In efforts to do their due diligence in making golf cool, NIKE teamed up with music icon Drake for a few golf-specific clothing items and accessories under his NOCTA label. You can never have too many hats! This all-black cap is a great option for those who want to look a little more hip on the course.

5 months agoNot sure what all the hate is about. Those 2 pair of Jordan’s are bad ass!

5 months agoI’ve got 2 pairs of Jordan 5 golf shoes: fire red and Oreo. Honestly, they’re not the most comfortable for walking 18 holes, and they’re at least 1/8″ higher than my gamer shoes, but they look amazing and I love them as much as my own children

5 months agoI have multiple pairs of Jordan golf shoes they get tons of compliments and are comfortable. However the Jordan 4 are terrible to wear with shorts. That plastic tab digs on my Achilles on a big swing. But overall nothing is close to as comfy as my adidas tour360 22 and they look really good

5 months agoMaybe I’m old but those shoes are awful. Bad for your feet and bad looking. Maybe a 10 year old could get away with wearing those black Jordans.

5 months agoI bought gray Jordan 11 golf shoes from StockX. They were expensive, but perfect. Couldn’t have been happier with the transaction. It was clear that they were verified to be authentic and brand new.. If I could justify the cost I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again.

Now I know what “Little shop of horrors” was named for…
Limited run shoes? There’s good reason none of those should have been made in volume!
