ECCO S3 Golf Shoes Review

92 overall

The Bottom Line

One of the lightest shoes in the test - the Ecco S3 provides Gortex water protection for early morning dew players. BOA technology eliminates the need for tieing your shoes, making car to course transitions simple. Heel is protected and secure without any pinching or blistering for a trustworthy base while swining.

Pros

True to size and extrememly lightweight. The S3's can even be stored in your bag without extra weight. One of the highest scoring shoes for all element play.

Cons

Product details list "Extra Width" - beware these are one of the more narrow constructions found in testing. On the higher end of the pricing scale.

I have 4 pair of Ecco shoes. Love the golf shoes! Not only do they feel good, they look good, are durable, provide a good base and are easy to clean. My first pair was purchased in 2010 and my last pair in 2021. By rotating the shoes they stay in good shape. Do they cost a little more? Yes! Are they worth the price? To me they are. You don’t need to buy the highest price Ecco shoes. Take a good look at the selections Ecco offers and watch for sales.
