Who’s it For

Most driving irons are suitable for skilled golfers who have mid to higher swing speeds. Beginners or slower swinging golfers will want to avoid utility irons or driving irons. The PING iCrossOver is exceptional and if you are considering a driving iron, this should be on the top of your list. It also features an adjustable hosel, which can help you dial in your launch conditions.

The Ping i-Crossover tested well, however, reading the reviews of those who bought the club on vendor sites, one can see Ping’s quality is really lacking. The head either breaks off or falls off the shaft in 30-40% of the reviews. Ping replies to the reviews stating that someone will be in touch with the complainant in a while, so it appears they are aware of serious quality issues with the club.

Strange, isn’t it? Same with the Ping Hoofer golf bags. Always a top performer for mygolfspy scoring, but tons of negative reviews on Ping’s website. Could it be competitors leaving bad reviews or is it real … hard to know what to believe.
