According to our consumer survey data, Sub 70 is the No. 1 direct-to-consumer golf equipment brand. The secret recipe is a blend of performance, value and kick-ass customer service.
Case in point: At less than $200, the Sub 70 949x fairway offers a robust slate of modern technology and materials. The 455-carpenter steel cupped face produces “the hottest ball speeds possible off the face” according to Sub 70.
With all of that said, we’d like to get feedback from MyGolfSpy readers.

12 months agoI own this club. I love it. Looks like a combination of TM and Titleist on the ground. I’ve found my mishits (usually fat off tight fairway lies) is much better than the Cobra I had before.

12 months agoI would love to be a part of the testing of the Sub 70 Fairway woods. I absolutely love my Taylormade 3 wood. I would love to test these clubs side by side to compare.

12 months agoSince Sub 70’s 949x wasn’t involved in the 2021 Woods test (due to manufacturer delays), I’m really looking forward to comparing it to my current 3W, which I bought (and love) based upon the 2021 Woods Most Wanted results – the Srixon ZX fairway.

12 months agoI’d love to test some out because I believe fairway woods are unnecessary in most cases. With a driver and a couple of good hybrids, I can cover almost any situation. However if they produce a great feeling and performing club, I might be convinced to put one in my bag.

12 months agoI recently purchased a set of their irons the 699 pros to replace an old set of TaylorMade players irons. Super impressed with the whole process and the quality of the iron is in line with a Callaway or Taylor made product.
They even shipped me 2 test irons to make sure that the clubs you buy are the right fit. Definitely take a look at some 70 and their set of irons…

12 months ago@Adam, stop punkin’ a poor college kid, Snickerdoodle! …and kid’s a lefty at that. LH equipment and fitting is a challenge and often an unrepresented demo, so it’s a worthwhile angle for these D2C clubs … and he ain’t being “paid” for playing D1 football, so maybe don’t whore yourself out for a laugh and let ‘im catch a free fairway if that’s the deal. I’m guessing his -1 hdcp insights as tester are *nearly* as good as your own…
