Catching up with BPutters
These days, if a new golf company can stay in business for two years, that’s a significant accomplishment. Just take a second and think about the companies that looked promising, and then vanished from the market. I’m not going to rub salt in wounds by naming names, but I’ll bet that you can come up with more than one here-then-gone golf company.
Today, rather than dwell on these sad stories, I want to go in the other direction and talk about a company that has succeeded.
It was a little over two years ago when I first talked to Antonio at BPutters to find out what his Italian-based putter company was all about. Antonio initially started BPutters to “turn my golf devotion into something really tangible”. The fact that he is still in business tells us that his devotion to golf, and his craft, is working. Today we are going to explore what makes BPutters a survivor in the golf business, take a look at some of the other golf goodies coming out of the BPutters workshop, and explore a new putter model that one of you may be gaming very soon.
To better understand how BPutters has stayed in business, I went right to the source. Antonio was gracious enough to field a couple of questions, his answers providing insight into how BPutters was able to not only survive but also actually grow in the super competitive golf marketplace.
How has BPutters changed over the past two years?
Many things changed but our approach and philosophy remain the same: quality, design and performance. We sensibly improved the milling process with a more efficient CNC approach, got a little bit more structured and organised internally. We added two models to our series: the B15 Scuderia and recently the Bandit. Both very “unusual” designs with a generous weight and a great balance. We recently reviewed our web page, trying to increase our visibility. We called ourselves “The Italian putter company” as we’re proudly Italian and willing to promote Italian design and creativity. Craftsmanship is the key throughout our production process, from the design, machining, polishing and finishing. We also tried to extend as much as possible our approach to customers with a multitude of custom options: from the face milling to the necks and from finishes to fitting combination. Accessories are an important element to our business as well, they also represent a clear expression of our creativity and attention to details.
How have online sales allowed BPutters to be a worldwide putter company?
We still have a long way to go for a correct placement on the Internet, but we’re making all the steps needed to do so. We decided to refresh the web site with a new layout, keeping it very simple. We didn’t want to make it the classic e-shop but mostly a place where the customer could spend some time browsing, getting a better picture of what we do and calmly decide. We tried to include more options and a constant dialogue with golfers to share information and tips. Whenever needed, we provide a personal fitting program to anyone willing to choose a Bputter. We suggest the best solution (even not to buy the selected putter) in order to make the choice correct. A news section keeps you updated on reviews, new products, videos and curiosity over the process. We’re still improving the presence on the web to provide a full service.
Has the boutique putter market changed since we last visited?
The sector is becoming more competitive day by day. New makers show up with their ideas and styles. This is really exciting from one side and of course stressing to another. The risk is making big confusion among golfers willing to understand better the meaning of custom milled putters. Main issue now is the lack of proper information which makes customers a bit disoriented. Key elements to putter fitting need to be clearly explained to customers in order to make them aware of their needs. The niche is facing many changes, it’s not the “easy selling era” anymore, but I still think it’ll strongly develop in the next few years. From our side we try to concentrate our efforts on quality products and full customization options with an open dialogue with our clients whom are mostly returning customers.
What’s new and next for BPutters?
We’re planning to improve furthermore the web presence, a new blade type weight balanced model is on its way. A new series of handmade accessories with different options will be launched shortly. We’re also renewing our leather accessories including a “one size” pouch and a classic score holder. We’re also working on a fitting system accessible to anyone willing to get a BPutters on the web. Hopefully available for the next season.
Closer Look: BPutters Accessories
Hopefully you are following BPutters on social media sites. If you are, then you have already had a chance to see the amazing pitch tools and ball markers that they have started producing.
Normally, I would just say Damascus steel pitch tool, and that would be the drop the mic moment. However, BPutters are also making ridiculously amazing tools out of stainless steel, with burl wood or resin inserts. I personally place these tools in the same coolness conversation with the Damascus tools, and for me that really says something.
Each and every BPutters divot tool and Moon Markers also comes with its own leather storage pouch. Primo products.
BPutters is also producing leather golf accessories that are 100% made in Italy from Tuscan leather. There are two different sized leather pouches to choose from, as well as leather scorecard holders for those of you still using paper scorecards. I keep track of most of my scores on my phone these days, but the scorecard holders are so nice that they make me want to switch back to paper.
Closer Look: BPutters Bandit Putter
The Bandit represents an innovative mallet concept which combines design and performance. This model is perfectly balanced, very easy to align with one embossed sightline on the face and other two on the back, which helps to find the correct set-up on the ball. The Bandit is generous in weight for a solid feel and comes both center and heel shafted. Available in Italian 303 or Carbon steel.
This model is milled from a single billet of Italian 303SS with the following standard specifications: Satin or Polished finish – 380 gr. – center or heel shafted – 4° loft – 71° lie – 33 to 35 inches – straight or double bend shaft – no or 1/2 offset. It comes with a standard or midsize red Bputters Puregrips both for right or left handed golfers.
The BPutters Bandit Putter is a great example of what a small, custom putter shop can manufacture. The Bandit does its own thing in the putter shape arena. I can’t really think of another putter out there that looks the same. As you peruse the BPutters model stable, you’ll see that this is the norm for their designs. The Hammer may look like a traditional heel-toe-weighted blade, but The Scuderia B15, The Space, The Panther, and The Coyote are all pure BPutters designs.
Keep in mind that the designs are unique, but that they also perform. The Panther tied for third, in a field of twenty-eight putters, in the 2015 Most Wanted Mallet competition. Looks and function combine in the BPutters putters.
In addition to being a fresh head design, one of the things that I like the most about The Bandit, and the other BPutter models, is that you can see that a person was involved with the construction. Though they are just inanimate metal, I’d swear that these have a little life in them. I know that I’m venturing into dangerously esoteric waters, but there is a vibe/feeling that comes from the BPutters putters that I just don’t feel from mass-manufactured putters. Dismiss this if you must, but I’ve had three of Antonio’s putters in my hands, and I get the same feeling from each one. If pressed to explain, I’d say that part of the maker is in the metal.
As I said, The Bandit is classic BPutters. The metalwork is precise, sculpted into an overall very organic shape. That shape has a purpose though: MOI. By moving the metal to the edges and the back, BPutters has produced a very stable swinging mallet. Rather than just milling in some lines, BPutters has incorporated three elevated sight lines. The combination of the front and back lines effectively allows one to line up The Bandit to the target line.
Should you want your putter to truly stand out, you can also order your BPutter with a custom finish and/or custom grip. Maybe Antonio will even add in a little bit of extra custom awesomeness, like a custom etched design on the bottom, or a torched copper shaft band. Custom means custom. Antonio will work with you to get your putter just how you want it.

Top Marks to BPutters: The Italian Putter Company
As I said in my first BPutters article, it’s pretty amazing that buying a putter made in Italy is just a few keystrokes away. Internet commerce is amazing, but also risky for a small golf company. BPutters has not only survived, but is growing due to a combination of producing truly unique products, and expanding into other golf product areas. The Ferrari of golf products is definitely ready to make another lap around the track.

6 years agoI like a mallet style putter. I have entered just about every contest on Golfspy and haven’t been picked. I coach golf at a local high school and it would be fun to share the results with my team .
Tulley
6 years agoI would much rather have a really unique putter as opposed to some of the more mainstream “luxury” brands. You can tell that there is real craftsmanship going on here. Obviously one would have to remain as objective as possible and roll whatever sinks more putts, but if looks inspire confidence I think that this company nails it.
Mark
6 years agoLove mallets and all things Italian – I’m married to one; her Father was born there and her Mother’s parents were born there. (Great 40th anniversary trip to Italy.) The Bandit looks very interesting with the satin finish.
David Bernard
6 years agoWould like to try and use the Bandit
Stu Chang
6 years agoI like Panther but wondering why it’s only 335 grams in head weight. It looks stunningly pretty though. Keep up the good works!
Ed Kraus
6 years agoVery cool products. I only wish I had more time to play golf.
IronHorse
6 years agoI love the divot and Moon ball markers tools. They are so different and unigue looking. The Stainless steel versions are really stunning and would make playing golf that much more enjoyable

6 years agoItalian engineering is top for style and quality. Happy to be called a bandit using a Bandit putter

6 years agoI think the Panther putter looks really nice! And the moon ball maker makes a lot of sense. A lot of cool offerings; hard to pick a favorite!
Peter A
6 years agoSometimes just the thought of carrying the finest tools in your bag is enough to raise your game. Signing on to the website is enough. Scuderia immediately associates with Italy’s most famous brand. The look of the Bandit shouts engineering precision. For me the centre shaft option is my preference. The design is so elegant and I prefer looking over the mid line. A Bputter looks like it could have come out of the Ferrari factory and whats more it wouldn’t be as painful to miss a few, because you get you get to keep your hands on it. I hope they continue to make a success of it

6 years agoI love Italian food, women and wine. If the putters are of Italian quality then I like!

6 years agoOk – here’s why I love putters in general. Buying a putter – more than any other piece of golf gear is the closest thing to picking out a car. You go for what speaks to you. Sure there’s function… it has to do the job. But you ultimately are able to find something that speaks to your personality and values as well. Artisans like BPutters make the world a better place. Tough to pick a favorite. But, I can’t take my eyes off the Scuderia.
Jordan
6 years agoGreat looking putter and divot tools. You can see the quality craftsmanship in the photos.

6 years agoThe Moon Markers makes so much sense. Why aren’t all ball markers crescent shaped? Love the look of the Panther putter.
Sebastian
6 years agoI would love to try this. I have so many putters, but these look unique!
Joannna Infantino
6 years agoI have not had a lot of success with mallet putters, but would be very interested to try the Bandit. The satin and vintage finishes are beautiful and would avoid sun glare. Copper sounds awesome!
Michael W
6 years agoThe Hammer seems like it would be a perfect putter for my game.
Jeffrey A Parker
6 years agoi would love to try one of your putters but i never win anything ever thanks
Kilted Golfer
6 years agoI would like to see real putting stats of a couple of these putters vs more common ones to see how they stack up. Higher price does not always mean better performance.
Rick S
6 years agoThese putters look awesome. The polished appearance and smooth lines promote a visual image of a smooth putting stroke. I have a Scotty Cameron putter and these look as nice.
Jason Kanis
6 years agoNice article Dave. That Bandit is stunning! Exactly what an Italian putter should be: sex on a stick. I’d proudly put a LH, 35″ in my bag – and fight off all my playing buddies who no doubt will be after it…
Nigel Kent
6 years agoI simply LOVE the looks of all these putters, my favorite is a blade , if you have them in left-hand, I’d be honored to play one .

6 years agoEach of the designs has a unique animated look. I particularly appreciate that certershafting is offered in more than one design.
But the Bandit – I can feel it in my hands over a 4′ down hill breaker saying, “stroke it, this is gold”!
Tim Woods
6 years agoYour Bandit and Coyote models (Blue) capture classic Italian design and have me lusting after an opportunity to play one. Great work by your designers and engineers!
Karel Kocandrle
6 years agoA beautiful , real ” Italian ” style design
E comme functiona ? any experience comments ?
Ron C.
6 years agoLooking through the website, the workmanship and dedication is breathtaking, and absolutely love the emphasis on the company’s Italian heritage.
Then I saw it – the B15 Scuderia. As a long-time F1 fan, NOTHING says Italian quality and commitment to performance like the word “Scuderia”. Daring, bold, stunning design – if ever there was a putter that deserved to be associated with Ferrari, this is it.
Bellissimo!
Dr J
6 years agoTrust the Italians to create an aesthetically beautiful looking putter and awesome looking accessories. It has to be pleasing to the eye to appreciate your equipment and to play even better
Evan
6 years agoThe look of that putter has definitely drawn my interest. Sleek and unique is how I like putters. If it looks different but still performs at an exceptional level, that is all that matters.
Matthew Dumble
6 years agoI’d probably go for either the Space or the Panther, but each and every one of the putter models looks as sexy as hell. They may as well be the “Ferraris of the Greens”!! The vast majority of the accessories and putters look like they’ve just come fresh out of a spaceship. And who wouldn’t want a leather putter cover?
Richard Tarnowski
6 years agoI checked out all of the models and would love just about any of them, but the Space really has me intrigued. It has an “out of this world” look that appeals to me. Here hoping………………………..
Richard Tarnowski
6 years agoI meant “Here’s hoping.”

6 years agoJust reviewed the new web site and what I saw was true craftsmanship. I love the Bandit with a vintage finish and a matching pitch tool. Thanks for the information and continued success.
Brian
6 years agoMy eye spy a putter worthy mygolfspy!
David Croombs
6 years agoThey look beautiful and made to a high quality too. I don’t think you can ever beat handcrafted putters as they are made with love and care. I would say that they are made with the customer in mind and I can only imagine that they feel like no other putter. I can only dream to own and be able to putt using one of these putters.
George Paich
6 years agoI tell you, after looking at the bPutter website, this looks pretty awesome. Playing a Bettinardi BB40 so I have to find which stores have these to go check them out
Simon H
6 years agoInteresting company and I think it’s nice to see something that’s actually different design wise! Thanks for the insights
David
6 years agoCoyote in Vintage finish would be awesome.
Golf Scientist
6 years agoI hadn’t heard of BPutters until I read about them here on MyGolfSpy. Of the models both the Coyote and the Scuderia B15 appeal to my eye due to their center-shafted design. (Something not many companies make these days). Of the two the Coyote appeals to my eyes the most. The bandit would probably be the best putter for a person looking for a high MOI, easy to align putter. Even tough the polished and black pearl both probably produce glaring in certain light conditions they are the finishes that grab my attention as very stunning. (I like the black pearl finish a bit more, based on the pictures on their website, than the polished). The black PVD is probably the most sensible choice when it comes to finish colors as it would likely be the least distracting and probably easiest to align of the different finishes. As anyone who has read my post this far may be able to guess my favorite of the group would be a black pearl Coyote, but I wouldn’t turn down the custom MSG Bandit if I happened to win it.
Jim Williamson
6 years agoI love Italian cars, food and wine. If the putters are of Italian quality then I enjoy the sound of balls dropping.
Brandon
6 years agoInteresting Putter

6 years agoI like different looking mallets. Current gamer is a futura. The Bandit is certainly a putter I would try.
Mybluc4
6 years agoThe Panther in the Vintage finish would be great to win.
James Bishop
6 years agoBeautiful putters! I would buy one, but my wife would probably kill me since I have well over 20 putters.
James Han
6 years agoYes, she will Ha Ha
Mark Blankenship
6 years agoI like mallets, so my favorite putter is the bandit. Close runner up: the Space with black pearl finish. I also LOVE the leather covers.
Chuck Zirkle
6 years agoInteresting concept. With properly balancing could be a prospect.
MAtt Scallon
6 years agoThis looks like it could be a very good putter. I am a lefty but would love to try one of these and compare it to my O-works Tank putter. My golf game is pretty good but putting is where I struggle so any help and advantage I can get there is a HUGE help!
Andy C
6 years agoInteresting looking putter. From the picture, not sure if my eyes will like it or not, but i am not going to deter away from the product just because I’ve only seen it from picture. Sometime real thing will be different from the picture. As long as putter performs and help improve my putting game, then that’s all I can ask for. Better putter is better than better driver in my opinion. Will welcome the opportunity to test this putter out in a real world.
DSK
6 years agoThese look great. Amazing they only sell these online, would love to see in golf shop to test. All the models look really nice, Bandit or Space probably the most interesting.
Walter
6 years agoI’d take the Panther in black PVD, very nice. But, I might change my mind depending on which model tests out better.
Lou Guillen
6 years agoI like the new style and innovations . Would love to win a Bandit putter.
Alan
6 years agoVery sexy looking putter, do they make then
m for left handed golfers?
WKL
6 years agoLove reading and learning about small, custom companies like BPutters. Bandit looks clean and simple; the B15 Scuderia looks pretty sweet too.
Gary Johnson
6 years agoI have an alignment issue, looking at the pictures, it appears looking down the shaft and the marking it would be easier to align your putts. I am only worried about the weight if the putter. I hope I’m selected not only to give feedback but hopefully this fixes my putting woes. Thank you.
John Leach
6 years agoThat is a smooth looking putter!
Arthur Lane
6 years agoHave always been a blade guy. If shopping right now would go for the Hammer
34″
370 gram
Mid-size grip
Polished, very pretty.
However, many of my golfing buddies are now using different mallet versions, so I would not be opposed to giving one a try.
Bobby.D
6 years agoVery interesting looking putter. The wide back bend seems to be the normal now with companies trying the wing look. I sure would like to try a 33′ putter and compare it to the scotty cameron, that I use. Thanks for the opportunity to try one.
Bob R
6 years agoThe Bandit is my choice. A work of Art on a golf course. What a Great idea.
Art Paxton
6 years agoOverall the Bandit has the shape of my current favorite putter (Srixon P513) but with a high refined sculptural character. The aesthetics of a golf club matter greatly to me, possibly to the detriment of my iron scoring. Yet I readily imagine BPutters as marrying beauty with performance and reliability. I notice the raised sight line and recall a recent article on Cleveland’s TFI putter line which claims benefits for an alignment line raised to a golf ball’s exact radius. I like the subtle squaring of the back of the putter and, with the photographed custom-etched putter, a stunning contrast between satin and polished surfaces. Grips and headcovers aren’t always given the consideration of head design, but the Italians’ leather craft bodes well for our essential contact with the club.
Kevin A R
6 years agoI have always had a preference for a mallet putter. This “Bandit” is certainly a beautiful putter. I assume it is well balanced and “feels” nice. Hoo Lawdy is it expensive! LOL Italian high end craftsmanship, a Putter Ferrari! Like to have this Bandit to even the field against the bandits I play with! LOL
Patrick
6 years agoI’m glad to see a small company making it by doing their way. Great looking putters … They look like they’re very well made
Rand Feura
6 years agoSo many great new putters out there. Might this be the one to replace my ancient Ping O-Blade?
Joseph L. Poe
6 years agoSo old school putter user since 1980, I’ve been playing a Ping Anser 2 all that time. Only did I recently upgrade the grip with a Soft Stroke 3.0 mid size to get my hands out of it more. I’d love to get a new putter and would be willing to do a comprehensive test for you starting with 3 distances 6′, 15′ and 25′ doing 25 putts each on both my Ping and this beautiful new BPutter. It’d give you and them a reasonable charting of improvement over my Ping vs. theirs and would also allow me to assess if this bad boy actual works for me. FYI, my handicap is right around 17-18 and have been playing golf for many years and just now getting more serious. Let’s do this MyGolfSpy!!!!!!!
Come on, I’ll give you numbers back and even some video if you like. 🙂
Arthur Dostaler
6 years agoAs toolmaker myself I understand the work involved to create these gorgeous results and the skill required to achieve them. Bravo to your crew. The pride shines through
WIllard Griever
6 years agoHaven’t had a new putter in 15 years and this would be an awesome step up in both aesthetics and way more than likely, performance.
Good luck to all.

6 years agoGood lord that bandit is pretty. Amazing craftsmanship, but I think I’m in love with the tools as much as the putters.
Merv Dusyk
6 years agoLove the look of Bandit, stealthy appearance, so many options. Cool logo interesting similar to MYGOLFSPY. Design should offer great MOI . Satin finish, double bend heel shafted 1/2 offset for me.
Jim
6 years agoYou can see the craftsmanship in each putter. Would love to try one.

6 years agoThey are incredible looking putters.
David Biondi
6 years agoI like The Coyote and the leather putter cover
N. Tucker
6 years agoThe Space looks gnarly. In the vintage finish, it would remind me of a grizzled intergalactic warfighter, purveyor and survivor of countless skirmishes with legions of strange and hostile species at contested outposts from every known and charted corner of the abyssian expanse.
Also, those divot tools look rad.
Mark Exeler
6 years agoThere is a real look of quality and attention to detail in each of the putters. It is also unique that they will give you the options of finish to make it “your putter.” While all are great, I love the look of the coyote in the polished finish.

6 years agoThey all look very nice, The Coyote is the one that calls to me.

6 years agoI love the looks of all the putters, very fond of the Coyote as I like center shafted putters. The custom finishes look awesome. Wish them nothing but success, great to see the little guy battle the big boys.
Daryl M
6 years agoAt first glance the Bandit is beautifully finished with a non-reflective surface. The alignment mark is framed nicely by the D shaped cavity and rear marking to easily line up putts. I can’t wait to get my hands on it to see if it feels and performs as good as it looks.
The Bearded Golfer
6 years agoI fancy a bit of the Bandit! This putter looks Epic
Joe Golfer
6 years agoI like the Bandit the best, though the Coyote is also really nice.
I’ve never tried a center shafted putter like the Coyote shown on the website.
I like a mallet putter for the forgiveness.
The finish on these is beautiful.
Like the Bandit with offset. Several finishes look great. Like the satin and the black pearl the best.
Jimmy O
6 years agoThe Bandit intrigues me. I like the raised sight line and the curves are all very clean. I’m not usually a fan of open cavities in putters but this works. The weight is where it needs to be to make it forgiving. Would love to see how it rolls the orb.

6 years agoThe Bandit would be my putter of choice, I am curious to see what it does on the slightest mishit. I currently use the EvnRoll which is unbelievable. The divot tools look very distinguished!
Darren Tan
6 years ago2 years ago when I read the first article on Bputters, I had fallen in love with the Coyote. The curves on it are simply stunning and sexy. Reminds me of a certain Italian actress Monica Belluci. Hopefully one day, I’ll get the chance to own one of Antonio’s putter.
Darren T
6 years agoGuess I’m just a more traditional guy so the hammer model just fits but hey I’m happy to try this bandit!!

Phil Thompson
6 years agoWhat an awesome contest. It’s nice to see someone use his devotion to create a business. All success to him!
Glenn
6 years agoVery sexy looking putters. Not sure which one looks best! Never seen one in the flesh, but happy to trust your observations, and it sounds like it has plenty of “feel”. I don’t change putters that often – maybe 5 or 6 times in the past 25 years.
I’ve tried most types – blades, mallets, centre shaft, short, long, but I keep on ending up back at a Cobra “Bobby Jones Soft Lady” mallet that I’ve had for the past 20 years or so, although the “soft” insert has now gone hard and it’s lost a bit of its feel.
Can the Bandit steal it’s place?
I’d love to put a 33″ double bend Bandit through it’s paces and give the “Soft Lady” a well-earned retirement!
Mike K
6 years agoThese putters are look amazing. I love the customization you can do make your it your own.
But the fact that they’re a small business that has stayed open for a few years and still produce quality products is awesome. They must be doing something right.
Keep up the great work.
Luc
6 years agoThat Coyote in Black pearl looks amazing. Center shafted and a single red dot, I don’t think I could miss… I always play mallets so this one is for me!
Luc Lacoursiere
6 years agoThe Coyote is their nicest putter for me. Center shafted and with that red dot, I don’t think I could miss… And I just love that Black Pearl finish. I always use a mallet so this one is for me!

6 years agoBPutters look amazing! I’m a big fan of smaller companies that put an emphasis on quality. I just wish it was easier to get our hands on some of these clubs to give them a try! After looking at the website for the first time, I think my favorite putter models are the hammer and the bandit. These 2 models offer a new take on more traditional designs than their other models, and also offer attractive visual alignment aids, which I always appreciate! The bandit putter would make a great addition to any bag!
MIKE KOLLING
6 years agoTHESE PUTTERS LOOK WAY GOOD!. CONCEPT, STYLE AND INGENUINITY SEEM TO BE REMARKABLE. WOULD LOVE TO WRAP MY HAND ON ONE OF THESE RASCALS!
Tom Bartlett
6 years agoAbsolutely beautiful, it’s refreshing to see something that different. It looks like sculpture.

6 years agoAt 85 years of age, I am still playing up to three times a week even while experiencing severe Osteo Arthritis in my left thumb. Since experiencing the YIPS three years ago, I have changed to an original Rossie Mallet, and have been fighting around the 30 to 32 range. The new BP Putters are very intriguing, and one would be wonderful to have one to finish out my golf career since age 26.
GregL
6 years agoLooks sweet, Would love to have that in my bag
Lynne C
6 years agoVery sleek, very cool. Is it face balanced or toe heavy?
Gary Miller
6 years agoBeautiful putters, works of art. I would be proud to own any of them.
Dave Mueller
6 years agoBeautiful stuff, I’m looking to replace my old TaylorMade mallet soon too. And the divot tools are sweeet……….

6 years agoBPutters – Bandit looks amazing as well as their pitch tool and ball markers. To stay and be competitive in this market looks like they have found success by staying true to themselves and creating quality performing putters. Their creativity definitely shows in their craftsmanship of their products and I can’t wait to see what else they have stored for the near future. Using the material versus filling in lines with paintfill is a neat idea and what can I say, the putter looks silky smooth.
Thank you MGS and BPutters for this awesome opportunity to try your unique putter. The MGS custom Bandit putter is “BAD A$$”. Perfect weight for me at 380 grams in polished finish would be awesome!!!
John Marsh
6 years agoRotater cuff surgery ended golf season before it started – 2018 will be a new start – time to get fitted for clubs from top to bottom – a new custom fit putter would fill out the the new look, thank you
Simon Clifford
6 years agoLove the look of the divot tools. The putters are pretty awesome too!
Brenton K.
6 years agoI’m not much of a mallet guy but the finish quality on this putter looks impeccable. The sight lines made out of the raised metal really grab my attention. I would have to say this is beautiful mallet that i would love try out.
Jiro
6 years agoThe way things look is important to me and I can appreciate someone that looks to excel at their craft, whatever is, in pursuit of their own idea of perfection. I like the clean lines and simplicity of the Coyote putter but yet it still has the unique teeth feature at the back that gives it some uniqueness.
Thanks for the write up and the opportunity.

6 years agoI love all things Italian .. La Dolce Vita! The food, the wines, the country… One of my best friends is Italian, my favorite motorcycle was a Ducati, when I was a teen I had an old Alfa sports car for a while .. .. heck, I even married an Italian woman!!! (and, yes, she’s a great cook!)
As far as BPutters — I just love the “look” of them (any and all of them) .. they look they’re just supposed to rooolllllll the ball Italian-style .. .. smooooth, delicato eh? A gentle caress off the face 😉
And the moon ball marker is genius! Makes much more sense for more properly (ie. accurately) marking and *replacing* your ball in the right spot.
Anyway, the new Bandit could be amazing to test as I definitely need help returning the putter face to square at impact ….. Thx!
Javier
6 years agoI don’t know what was going on but the sight wasn’t working very well on my phone. Anyway that’s neither here nor there, from what I could see the putters were quite striking, the lines were smooth and sexy without being busy and a distraction. These look like a high end, quality putter that anyone would be proud to show off. As for the performance that would be interesting to find out.
Tim Dunlevy
6 years agoI like the D shape of the putter. Basically it looks nice, named after a baseball team I played for and its my last name initial

6 years agoAwe, you know those Italians and their sales abilities…”they never let a dago by” All kidding aside they are fabulous pieces of work.. Nice… very nice… I would love to have one if they made the wt. etc the same as my Edel Putter… Maybe I’ll go down the street in Speedway, IN and talk to the Dallara company… see if they have any countryman pull with them??
Tim C
6 years agoLove the MYGOLFSPY logo, great looking putter
Dennis Whitehead
6 years agoAlways enjoy your articles about little known companies. Beautiful putter!
Jason H
6 years agoThe craftsmanship on this is exquisite. You can really see that a lot of pride goes into both the creation and delivery to the owner. Very nice that there is also a level of customization that can be done. I do wonder what might happen if BPutters gets overwhelmed with orders and how they would handle this. Would each putter still be created as precisely as normal or will they turn to “mass” production methods? Regardless the Italian pride (similar to Ferrari and Lamborghini) glows in these putters. Very nice product!
Thedawson
6 years agoI like the looks of the coyote the best but I’d be more than happy to put this model through it’s paces
ronald barczyk
6 years agoa beautiful woman, great glass of wine and the soft feel in your soul as the putt rolls in off the face of a piece of artistically designed putter
david croombs
6 years agoThe Space is beautiful and my favourite putter they have to offer
Stephen Keppel
6 years agoLove the open design of the bandit, being a mallet guy the rife Barbados and now the Evnroll ER-7 were my favorite designs but this is quite spectacular in appearance very easy on the putting eyes
Henry Flores
6 years agoI’m more of a weighted mallet type of person so the Bandit looks awesome. But I’m curious to know how a heel shafted Scuderia would feel… I also love the look of their handmade golf tools.
Charles Bartholomew
6 years agoI must say that I am married to my Bullseye. It is the putter that I keep coming back to after I’ve tried others; maybe because it is the one that I started with as a young boy. I will say that the Bandit putter looks like it would fit my eye. I”d love to give it a try, but it will need to be very good to displace my Bullseye. If selected I will spend a lot of hours on the putting green evaluating it. It even looks like it’s talking to me. I’d like to get closer so that I can hear what it is saying.
Maxwell Conrad
6 years agoAll the putters are gorgeous. I really like the unique half moon ball markers, very cool.
Bob beilstein
6 years agoThe Bandit is “it” for me…just looks like the putter face will return square when you hit the ball.
Jacob
6 years agoI think the Coyote looks right up my alley. I find it aesthetically pleasing and the center shaft is preferred. Though, I do like the look of Space. Super cool line of putters! Very eye-catching!
Tim C
6 years agoThe Bandit putter is really sweet! I recently switched to a mallet putter from a Newport2 and it would be great to win one.
TR1PTIK
6 years agoBoth the Coyote and the Bandit really caught my eye – the Coyote especially. All the models look incredible and (with the exception of the Hammer and perhaps the Panther) all of them represent a tasteful departure from the putter norm.
It’s refreshing to see a company so devoted to providing their customers with what they want, and what they NEED through custom fitting. The list of custom options available is also quite impressive.
I’m surprised that A) I’ve never heard of these guys before and B) that I haven’t seen any of these designs on the PGA Tour. Surely there is at least a small percentage of European Tour players gaming one of these.
I just purchased my first Scotty and I’ve been salivating over Flanigan Putters for some time, but now I just want one of these!!! Exquisite!
john faieta
6 years agoPutter looks awesome, love the look of the Bandit. I need one in my bag!

6 years agoThe Bandit looks sleek and with it being my birthday tomorrow, it would be a great addition to my game!
J Keck
6 years agoA stunning example of Italian design, finish and function! Looks great and no doubt is joy on the greens.
AL B.
6 years agoThe Scuderia in a face balanced version would be interesting. I had an old slotline inertia putter I gave to my son ’cause he could put well with it and 20 years later still haven’t found anything that I put as well with.
Jeff E
6 years agoWhat isn’t there to like on their site? Everything I saw on it was stunning, from the putters to the divot tools. All the finishes available.. first class products!
Chris H
6 years agoOn the website the coyote caught my eye first. I traditionally like center post putters. The bandit intrigues me based on the large hole in the middle. The head covers looks stupid sick! might even be nicer than the Scottys.
FRED
6 years agoSometimes beauty is the details, sometimes simplicity is what create harmony of all them
Stradivarius on the green sounds good to me. #playloud

6 years agoWould love to have this thing of beauty in my bag.My “Senior” buddies would have lots of comments as I have frequently changed putters over the last year. This maybe the inspiration I need to better putting.
Gary Goetz

Jim Fitzroy
6 years agoI’ve always preferred mallet type putters and this one looks like a winner!!
Jack Miller
6 years agoActually, I think the Bandit is my favorite putter in their lineup! Just gorgeous! Also love their head covers. A BPutters putter is now my new dream club!
Steve Griswold
6 years agoThe Bandit looks great and I’d love to be the first at my club using it!

Joel Johnson
6 years agoI’m partial to the Hammer in regard to putter style, and those Handmade Golf Tools are awesome!!!
Stu Miller
6 years agoI’m a fan of the Bandit. In any finish. Currently gaming a Cure RX2 so you can see I like big putters with lots of MOI and the Bandit seems to provide all of that in a great looking package.
TopPakRat
6 years agoAt last a putter company that carries a full line of BEAUTIFUL LEFT HANDED putters. When to the web site and I am impressed. Would love one with the VINTAGE finish. You know a company is in the game when they offer both right handed and left handed versions of their line. Cameron, Ping, Odyssey and the others don’t do that.
TopPakRat
6 years agoP.S. My favorite is the HAMMER left Handed in a Vintage finish 34 1/2 inches. YES I AM BEGGING!
Ken Chee
5 years agoNot true re Ping. We are fortunate that Ping offers all their clubs in left-handed.
Doug P

6 years agoI’d be interested in the Coyote. Center shafted, half moon, beautiful looking putter. Really intriguing
Bill S.
6 years agoWithout a doubt the Bandit in black pearl… amazing.
AND, that beautiful looking scorecard holder would help me record any 3 putts in unparalleled style.
……just kidding with the Bandit I’d obviously be draining everything.
Philip DiWilliams
6 years agoAs Noah Ritter would say “Its GREAT”
ronald ostrom
6 years agoI like the clean lines but the alignment aids could be enhanced with some color.
GHoward
6 years agoLooks like a fine pice of craftsmanship. Would love to try one out! Keep up the great work!
Kenneth Figgins
6 years agoThe bandit putters look so amazing! they clean and sharp looks! Would love to see how these look dressed behind a ball in person.
Frank. Duda
6 years agoLove the looks of the Bandit in a satin finish
Stephen Kettlewell
6 years agoThis putter looks so damned tactile, you wouldnt want to hold it the right way up. Its a work of art and if it is as balanced as it looks it may become a classic!
Kenny B
6 years ago“We like curves.” Nice, what Italian doesn’t?!
I looked at the website and those putters are beautiful. Nothing is mentioned and no photo of the Bandit face. Is it milled or insert?
Kenny B
6 years agoOops! Sorry, missed the photo here but nothing on the BPutters website.
Lance Matteo
6 years agoI like the idea of the circular perimeter weighting for better balance. Would love to try it. Thanks for the opportunity!

6 years ago“The Ferrari of golf products”
I’ve always been a Porsche man myself but I’d test drive the Ferrari of golf products for sure!
Adam K.
6 years agoBellissimo! Love that it visually sets up like a blade. Would be really interested to feel the weighting through the stroke.
ThinkingOfGolf
6 years agoI like the Bandit the best. If I was to have them build it for me I would get the Vintage finish and the coming soon inserts. Also, I’d want a flow neck welded on to close the face down a bit for me. I hit everything right with FB putters.
MikeB
6 years agoAs with many European products, amazing design and workmanship. I think you would be tempted to just stare at it as much as use it. It’s a putter you pull out in front of all your golfing buddies, and then hand out towels to catch the drool. (lol) Would be sincerely appreciative of the opportunity to receive such a gift. Thanks for the opportunity Bputters and MGS!
Cliff Ashpaugh
6 years agoCustom Italian putters, yes please! It looks amazing, but how do they compare to other high end putters. Whoever wins this is going to be very happy. Good luck everyone.
Trey Fouche
6 years agoFind the minimalist look of the design to be very interesting (especially since the back can still be used to pick up your ball ;-), but am also curious about how they determine which grip is appropriate and if one size fits all?
WILLIAM WILLIAMS
6 years agoThese are the most beautiful putters I have ever seen !
The ball markers and divot tools are genius and artistic !
I would be a very, very proud owner
Andy Bertisch
6 years agoA beautiful work of art to be played on course or shown off after. The Bandit with midsize grip at 33″ would be the ideal tool in my bag!
Juro Kiyama
6 years agoItalians are well known for their craftsmanship and reputation, and I hope BPutters are not just their looks, but comes with performance as well. I’d (we all would) like to see its comparison against US companies (like Odyssey, SC, TM, etc). Sorry if I critisized BPutters and probably I won’t win. But what I want to see is not listed here and I won’t buy it for now.
Dave Wolfe
6 years agoDid you read the part where a BPutters putter finished 3rd in the Most Wanted test?
Juro Kiyama
6 years agoNo. Where? I read ‘the most wanted putters,’ mallets and blades, on this site. What they claimed is on their independent test, no? Please direct me to the site. And thanks for your input.
Juro Kiyama
6 years agoI only saw 2015 test… that was 2 years ago and is not the factor, don’t you think? There are whole lots of great putters out there and I don’t think, or they look, as they can perform on the course compared to today’s top putters, just because they are Italian and expensive. We haven’t seen they in person yet.
Matt Jacobs
6 years agoAwesome looking Putters
Jeffrey A Parker
6 years agothe putter you are giving away is rely a beautiful putter the one i have now is probably 20 years old but its all i have that i like thanks for a chance to win such a great looking putter
Lenny Dienoff
6 years agoThe Bandit is the sexist thing I have seen on a green (33 inch – center shaft?) Hope I win one.
Chris
6 years agoWhat an awesome looking putter. I will never be able to afford a Ferrari but I would love to put with the Scuderia
Ricardo
6 years agoI really like the bandit putter, the ball markers and divot tools are amazing as well, haven’t seen anything quite like it very unique. I know i would get a lot of compliments from other players. My only comment about the website is you have to click on each of the different putters in order to be able to get a look at it instead of just being able to see them at a glance.
David Shower
6 years agoI like the look of the putters, but I’m really impressed with their tools and how elegant they are.
Ray Budisavljevic
6 years agoLove the look of the putter. I bet you would get a lot of compliments if it was in your bag..
Michael Bliss
6 years agoI get excited that there is still room for a start-up company to make it with all the giants around. The look of the putters is clean and well thought out. I especially like the panther lines. The accessories are again obviously done with some thought. I hope that one of these comes my way. It is beautiful and unique.
Juro Kiyama
6 years agoUnique looking putters. But, does it perform as good as other top putters? Where can I see their performance tests? I wonder…
Jovy B.
6 years agoFor now I would fav the Panther. Also some leather accessories and ball marker.
Scott
6 years agoLove the Bandit, that putter rocks!
Tim Singler
6 years agoThose putters look amazing. Almost to nice to use. Love the uniqueness of the Space putter
Larry Marak
6 years agoTruly intrigued with the unique style. Would love to have one in my bag.
John Roberts
6 years agoI have never played a center shafted putter. The Coyote is beautiful to look at and makes me think I could make everything, which is quite a thought because I am sure not making many at the present time.
Big O
6 years agoWould be great to win. Although, if not so fortunate, I will definitely try one out based on the description.
Walt Sevon
6 years agoThe Bandit putter is a work of art and my favorite putter. It looks like it would inspire great confidence!
Tom Duckworth
6 years agoMan I like the Hammer and the Panther really jumps off the screen a very nice looking design.
B.McG
6 years agoEveryone loves a sexy Italian and these putters do not disappoint. I currently use a mallet and would be very interested in the MGS Bandit… Went to their site and also saw the “Panther”. How sexy would that thing be with a damascus insert and some custom weights…. 🙂
Don Perry
6 years agoLike the D shape putter n satin finish would be greatest
Steve Servison
6 years agoLooks like a new idea for solid ball striking. Would like to try one.
Don Perry
6 years agoI like the DShsped putter looks like it would give the balance I need.
Fernando V.
6 years agoThe finish on these putters is fantastic. I would definitely like to compare this mallet putter to my “go-to” scotty cameron. Who knows, i may be sold!
Terry Galan
6 years agoA GR8 design! Do they come in different lengths?
Keith Finley
6 years agoI really like the Bandit. I use a ping Craz-e-r because I like the negative space created by the holes. The Bandit takes the concept to a new level. Very cool.
Edward Bonney
6 years agonice looking putter and looks easy to line up and should be great for a left hand golfer.
John Y.
6 years agoThe Hammer looks absolutely stunning. Reminds me a lot of Scotty Cameron’s Squareback.
James Jaworski
6 years agoI like the Panther putter and like that it is available in carbon steel.
The vintage and cerakote finishes are very nice.
The half moon ball markers are sweet.
Keith P
6 years agoI’ve tried many different putters but I always go back to my Ping Redwood. I’m a ‘blade’ type putter but I love the looks of some of your mallets. Like everyone else, always looking for the magic putter!
Danielle Maslany
6 years agoI love how clean this looks, would love to look down at this to putt. The putter is just super sleek, I’m in awe.
Side-note, I need to order that scorecard holder ASAP.. so many beautiful products that one would love to receive as a gift. Fathers Day will be easy this year!
Dave Wolfe
6 years agoAnd we have a winner! Random chance shined on you today Danielle. 🙂
Arnold F.
6 years agoSlick looking putter with great design factors to give the ball a better roll. Hope you have one for a left-gander. Thx!
Martin Greene
6 years agoI love the detail each putter gets
Kyle S
6 years agoAfter looking their site over, they really have some fantastic looking options. The Bandit is a really good looking mallet putter. I like the unique open back to it. The custom page shows some really beautiful options like the “Black Pearl” finish. Put that on any putter and it becomes a work of art. That is just gorgeous. I would love to have the Bandit, Coyote or Space in that black pearl finish. Talk about an awesome looking flat stick. Not to mention their leather headcovers, wow.
Rick
6 years agoAwesome looking putter! This is the first I have heard of this line and am really impressed with the quality and attention to detail. Would love to add the Bandit to my bag!
steve
6 years agoPanther is sweet!
Harry Elias
6 years agoI like the clean look. Wonder if the lie angle can be adjusted.
Finly Steve
6 years agoI’m a lefty so it’s hard to find demos of most any club. I’ve been using an older two-ball Odessey, but don’t like the club/ball contact surface. This bandit putter seems to have the best of two worlds…the rear weight to make the ball roll better, and my preferred striking surface. I’d love to give it try.
Bill M.
6 years agoI am impressed with each of the BPutter designs seen on the website. I would like to be able to test each one to see how they might improve my overall putting. If I had to pick one to start with, I feel the Bandit would be the first one I picked up to try. The appearance, based on the few pictures on the site, is intriguing, and the design might help me overcome my tendency to try to manipulate the putter rather than just make a smooth stroke.
Mike Brincko
6 years agoCerakote or vintage finish Coyote would be a killer!
John
6 years agoPure Butter. these look awesome.
Mike hallee
6 years agoAntonio is a true craftsmen and all of his products are made out of the highest quality materials. The Hammer model has been one of my favorites since day one. This model the Bandet is a close second. Anyone that wins this putter will be very happy!
SCOTT CHASTAIN
6 years agoOutstanding design! I hope it works as good as it looks!
John John
6 years agoA usable piece of art. I absolutely love seeing a smaller company make high quality, high standards tools. Just seeing it in pic, you get a sense that it works. Great job!
Robert
6 years agoThat Bandit putter is amazing looking. It looks like it can make putts on it’s own. It is like a car with great lines. I’d love to have this in my bag!
Ed
6 years agoBeautifully designed putter. I would love to have it in my bag.
Jim healy
6 years agoI like the “not-in-your-face” site features. The sleek and appealing head structure provides confidence, which is 80% of successful putting.
Gary K
6 years agoDrop dead gorgeous! Italian design is always amazing.
Bob Higgins
6 years agoWow! After looking at their website it would be almost impossible to decide. Love all the designs but the Bandit really looks to be innovative and traditional at the same time. Would love to putt with those sightlines. Bona fortuna to all entrants.
Mike
6 years agoLove mallets, so the Bandit would be my choice in Black Pearl
NelsonFlores
6 years agoI really am interested in the design of the Bandit putter. My favorite accessory was the moon ball marker. Thanks!
Don

Bobby B
6 years agoThe Hammer is a classically designed blade with that Italian engineering ilk and style.
Elson Correa
6 years agoThat is a bad ass putter no doubt, it would make my golf bag look 100 times better, as for my game, I would be putting for show…
Graham Riley
6 years agoThe style is exquisite, extremely neat and like the fact that there is a bit more meat and weight in the D shaped head of the ‘Bandit’. With the weight distributed around the edges, a satin finish and a centered shaft I know I could do some real damage to my handicap numbers. Well done ‘The Italian Putter Company’………. bravo!!!
Steven
6 years agoI like the looks & design. With one of the ball marks it would be the envy of others
Kirby
6 years agoThe Bandit is looks amazing! Get in that satin finish, wow!
Jensen Devaurs
6 years agoTheir entire product line is very elegant and unique to the golf industry where equipment can be very tech driven. My favorite items are the divot tools and moon marker. The moon markets are a concept that I’ve never seen before but am instantly drawn to. It has a great functionality of the moon shape that I believe will be a great alignment aid. I am an instant fan of what they are doing here.
Matt
6 years agoAbsolute work of art. Look good, feel good…make more putts!
McaseyM
6 years agoI’m a big fan of the original Hammer putter, so simple and clean, but that Coyote mallet is so awesome too. If you wanna see one of the coolest faces, check out the the lightning bolt face milling in the Signature Collection.
The head covers are top notch and so well done, their logo stands out well in just the embossed leather, but the white with red embroidery is eye catching. Thanks for the opportunity!!
Steve Trust
6 years agoLove the graphics and the accessories. Green repair tools are great

ED Donahue
6 years agoLook of confidence, would love to try one of these !!
Andy LaCombe
6 years agoLike the Bandit the best – the alignment marks are very cool – very different kind of putter
mike mcferron
6 years agoThe Coyote strikes my fancy. I’d be a bit worried about glare from the sun, but the lines are beautiful. I also like the divot tools.
Danny Keith
6 years agoThat new stainless look with jet stealth quality look, cut off at 34, to me it looks awful Wicked I need to present that on our senior tour, with the moon marker and matching divot tool that’s Kick-Ass sign me up see me in I know how. Thank you for the chance I hope we can work something out.
Eric
6 years agoFavorite Putter: The SPACE (satin finish)

6 years agoLook like new classic putter designs. I would love to be the envy of my group. I hope that I’m the lucky winner.
David W
6 years agoThe Coyote is gorgeous and how cool is the ball marker! Can’t believe I haven’t seen that before.
Artie1
6 years agoGraceful Italian design for sure but alignment mark is so short, does it accomplish what is really needed?
Greg
6 years agoNice looking putters
Robin Z
6 years agoWould love to try this.
Jack Miller
6 years agoThose putters look amazing! I am all about quality and it looks like BPutters certainly fit the bill!
Sharkhark
6 years agoMaybe the site works on other phones or pc’s but wouldn’t on mine?
Tried clicking the menu navigation icon in top right and it didn’t do anything.
I assumed I could see different models. All I could do was scroll their main page up and down?
The red n black divot tool looks cool.
The bandit has no paintfill alignment lines which I like. Subtle almost naked just enough to help but not too stand out. I like that.
Ryan K
6 years agoCoyote is my favorite!
Italian curves on a putter…. wow!!
Scott Romines
6 years agoWow, their accessories are beyond cool. Awesome headcovers and tools, if the putters are half as nice, they got something great going..
Mike Young

6 years agoThe 3rd place finisher in MyGolfspys Most Wanted Mallet Putter Test in 2015, the Panther, is still, hands down, the most awesome looking putter around today. Simply stunning.
Kevin R.
6 years agoReally love the look of the bandit, absolutely beautiful mallet.
