Odyssey Adds Three New Damascus Milled Putters

On June 6, you’ll find three new Odyssey Damascus Milled putter models in your local shop. Admittedly, due to their limited nature, they may not be in your local shop. I can confidently report that they will be in a shop somewhere that day.

(Probably online shops, too.)

Regardless, what is certain is that the Odyssey Damascus Milled line that Odyssey announced last April is quadrupling in size.

The Damascus Milled family grows to four models as the One Wide, Two and Rossie now join the previously released #7.

Odyssey’s most premium putter line

The three new Damascus Milled putters carry on the premium construction tradition established by the Damascus Milled #7. Odyssey milled the heads from stainless steel, finishing them in “blasted silver”.

From the tour-influenced Golf Pride grip to the fur-lined headcover, the Damascus Milled line puts the “f” in “fancy.”

Of course, the real story of the line is the Damascus Steel insert.

Multiple folds and artificial intelligence

The Damascus Milled insert deftly integrates beauty and performance. The pattern is created by folding the steel hundreds of times. Aesthetically, it is striking, and unique to each putter.

When placed side by side, you see a classic Damascus Steel pattern but the actual patterns are very different.

I was so happy to see this variation. When I saw the insert of the Damascus Milled #7, I assumed the variation from putter to putter would be there but it is nice to have that belief confirmed.

Contrasting the variable looks, Odyssey has standardized the performance and feel of the Damascus steel insert.

Although you’ll never see it, Odyssey incorporated their AI knowhow to add unique topographies to the back of the inserts. Just like with the Ai-ONE and Ai-Dual inserts, these high and low regions help to normalize performance across the face of the putter.

The three new Odyssey Damascus Milled models

Let’s take a look at the three new Damascus Milled models. All three heads are classic Odyssey shapes. Even if you ignore the Damascus steel, the precision milling is applause worthy. Clean lines are the norm with these putters.

Play and aesthetic impressions

The Odyssey Damascus Milled #7 CH is one of my favorite putters of 2026. The overall package is so impressive. The fact that I was gaming a Toulon Las Vegas when the #7 arrived made it even more fun for me.

That putter set the bar very high for subsequent releases.

The One Wide and Rossie S are easily as nice as the Damascus Milled #7. The milling on the Rossie is especially impressive. The contours are masterfully sculpted. The back of the putter looks as impressive as the face.

I can’t make anything over 10 feet with this style of putter but I would game the Rossie S just for its infinite coolness.

The characteristics of the insert are similar to the #7. Impact produces crisp tone, a firm feel and vigorous roll. Although perhaps not as helpful as the Ai-DUAL insert, I found that the Damascus Milled insert produced very consistent rolls.

The Damascus Milled Two pulls at my heart strings a bit. This putter is so amazingly executed that it makes me want to play a blade putter again. This putter checks all of my blade boxes. It has the squared-off profile I prefer.

The sight dot is the minimalist choice. It gives you a place to reference the ball at address but it keeps the rest of the putter clean. This lets the edges express themselves without obstruction.

There are a couple of blade putters in my garage that I hold on to on the off chance that I will game a blade again. The Odyssey Damascus Milled Two will be joining their ranks. Hope springs eternal that it will perform as well as the #7 and make the trip to the course.

That’s my favorite thing about these putters. They look amazing but, ultimately, they are built to be played.

Odyssey’s most premium putter line carries a premium price

If you want one of the new Damascus Milled putters, it will cost you $699. That price is not insignificant but I feel that it could have been higher.

The new Odyssey Square 2 Square TRI-HOT putters are $599. It’s wild that the Damascus Milled putters are only $100 more than a stock putter line that Odyssey could produce in infinite numbers.

I don’t have an official number as to how limited the Damascus Milled models are but the production numbers are definitely more finite than other Odyssey putters.

If you want one of the four Damascus Milled models, and have the means, don’t think about it too long.

You left out an important fact about Damascus steel. It isn’t just layered steel it is the layering of different steels with varying hardness ratings and other molecular characteristics. The combination of steels is what gives Damascus its pliability, softness of feel, and beauty. Folding over the same steel over and over does not yield these desirable characteristics.
