Best Of Golf Awards 2025

The annual MyGolfSpy Best of Golf Awards is perhaps my favorite piece to write each year. It’s one of the few times we get to (somewhat) look past the data and analysis to just show off some really cool stuff.

It’s not that we don’t want to highlight top-performing golf gear. There’s still plenty of that here. But the Best of Golf Awards allow us to shine a light on the little guys, the unsung heroes and heroines of the golf industry.

Some of the best golf gear has been kept a secret for too long. That, above all else, is why we created our Best of Golf Awards.

From badass headcovers to wacky recovery tools we just can’t seem to stop using, each of these items has been hand-picked by our eclectic staff.

This is the Best of Golf for 2025.

Vice Colored Golf Balls

Vice makes white balls as well but why not add a little color to your game? Their color patterns are unique and brightly colored balls can be located quickly, speeding up pace of play.

adidas COURSECUP Golf Shoe

adidas reached deep into their archives to bring this pair to life. Based on the Gold Cup golf shoe from 1986, this shoe pairs modern tech with heritage looks for one killer package.

Dormie ‘Designated Hitter’ Headcovers

Spring in the Midwest means two things: golf season is approaching and so is MLB Opening Day. Pop on this premium headcover from Dormie, which fits like a catcher’s glove, and you’re set.

Smathers & Branson x Grateful Dead Accessories

Any good Deadhead golfer knows the magic is found on the journey. Grab some of these licensed Grateful Dead accessories and celebrate what a long, strange trip it’s been.

Penfold Ryder Cup 1927 Collection

Simple, clean and classy. The Penfold Ryder Cup 1927 Collection not only celebrates the upcoming 100th anniversary of the Penfold company but the 100th anniversary of the Ryder Cup itself. The collection includes U.S. and European team themed backpacks, shoe bags and really awesome retro carry bags. Hell, even the 1927 ball markers are cool.

COBRA 3DP 3D Printed irons

These will make you rethink everything you think you think about how an iron is supposed to behave. Thanks to clever design achievable only through 3D metal jet printing, COBRA has made an iron with the footprint and feel of a forged blade but with the forgiveness and distance of a game-improvement iron.

Vessel Player V Pro Carbon stand bag

Yeah, I know a $2,000 golf bag sounds ridiculous but if there ever were a bag worth $2,000, this would be it. Price aside, this might be the best constructed stand bag I’ve ever seen.

Maxfli XC2 and XC3 forged irons

Maxfli may be the house brand at DICK’s and Golf Galaxy but the folks there have made a terrific family of single-piece forged irons. The XC2 are player’s distance and the XC3 are game-improvement but they blend perfectly together. They also feel incredible and fly like crazy.

BogeyBros Azalea Hat

Avaialble in snapback or stretch fit, the Azalea hat is ideal for the spring time but works well anytime of year. It’s a simple yet effective design that gets a laugh while still looking like a clean, modern golf hat.

Miami Slice Headcover From Birdieboss

As a Floridian, I fell in love with the vibe of this Miami Slice heacover with a Miami Vice color scheme. It’s perfect for a hybrid cover to round out your headcover game.

Ace of Clubs Golf Belts

I’m a bit of a fancy boy and I do love a nice belt. Whether you’re looking for a quality leather belt or a quality exotic leather belt – aligator, shark, python, etc. – Ace of Clubs has you covered. I’m particularly fond of the white and blue Hornback crocodile custom offering.

KJUS Reach Jacket

The KJUS Reach jacket is my favorite piece of golf apparel. It’s the perfect jacket for chilly spring mornings and cold fall days. Soft, warm, stretchy and infinitely comfortable, it’s the perfect piece for golf’s shoulder seasons.

Sandbagger Cocktails

I’m not a huge drinker on the course (even if the scorecard often suggests I must have been drunk) but for league nights, Sandbagger has become my go-to cocktail of choice. They offer gin- and vodka-based cocktails in a variety of flavors. I don’t know what the hell a cloudberry is but I can tell you it tastes great.

Seamus Bad Mother Fucker Ball Marker

The Pulp Fiction-inspired design is an absolute classic (insomuch as there’s such a thing as a classic ball marker). It’s always a conversation starter and on your worst days, it’s just a comma away from describing your game

Iron Horse Metals – Bandon Dunes Collection

If you haven’t been already, Bandon Dunes needs to be on your golf trip bucket list. As with any proper destination, you’ll find plenty of souvenirs but my favorite are the collection of course logos from Iron Horse metals. There’s one for every course at Bandon along with Old Mac’s signature Ghost Tree (available in two sizes). Golf-inspired wall art at its finest.

Ballpark Blueprints Golf Course Prints

Looking for something to cover the walls in your man cave or golffice? Ballpark blueprints offers, well, blueprints, of some of the most popular golf courses around the world. I own several (a decorating compromise with my wife) and, I assure you, they’re way cooler than anything you’re going to find at Marshalls. They’re available in a variety of sizes framed and unframed. Prints are also available for MLB and NFL stadiums. They offer T-shirts as well.

Swag Headcovers

As if the name isn’t any indication, Swag Headcovers are some of the coolest and swaggiest out there. Their unique designs have amassed a cult following for good reason. As the kids these days say, they’re “freaking sick.”

Palm Golf Hats

When your CEO swears by a hat, it’s got to make the list, right? No lie, MyGolfSpy founder Adam Beach won’t wear any other hat. Palm hats are infinitely wearable and their logo plays well on and off the course.

PING BunkR

Something this ugly better serve a purpose. Similar to its less ugly brother the ChipR, the PING BunkR was designed with one goal in mind: to help you get out of the bunker every single time.

Sand Trap Society Sand Box

Of all the golf subscription boxes I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a lot) the Sand Trap Society Sand Box is my favorite. It’s a curation of golf goods from the coolest brands in the game, some known and others relatively unknown. That’s a lot of words to say, “it’s darn cool.”

Groov Custom Insoles

I never knew I needed custom insoles until I tried Groov. In a matter of minutes (and using only an iPhone), you can scan your feet and Groov will create a one-of-one pair of insoles, customized to your specs. It sounds easy in theory and it’s just that simple in practice.

RESHOEVN8R Sneaker Wipes

You never know when your golf shoe (or clubs) are going to need a good wipedown. RESHOEVN8R’s sneaker wipes are perfect for carrying in your golf bag to keep your kicks fresh. I love how portable and powerful these little wipes are.

Hyperice Hyperboot

Talk about one of the wackiest products I’ve ever used! It also happens to be one of the coolest. These fancy moon boots massage and heat your lower extremities to help you recover after walking a million and a half steps looking for your golf ball in the woods. (Just me?)

Wheaton Jarvis Tee

What if we took the classic wooden tee and made it more than 100 times bigger? That’s the Jarvis Tee, the perfect decoration for your man cave and office. Or, if you just happen to hit 50 degrees up with your driver, you can probably use it on the course

Charlie Golf Co Toddler Golf Bag

Who said adults should have all the fun? Charlie Golf Co. makes the best toddler golf bags in the game, hands down. They’re perfectly proportioned for your little one and make it easy to introduce them to the worst, best, most frustrating, most rewarding game on the planet.

Hey. Nothing MYGOLFSPY does is a waste of time. If you don’t like what they put out there, then unsubscribe. You never know the golden nugget you might come across that might find its way in your bag.

Thanks for shouting out sandbagger! From Canada here and my mom is actually good friends with the couple that created sandbagger drinks and they’ve been pretty popular here for awhile but didn’t know how far they would get out, so nice to see you guys enjoying them too!

Connor, interesting list… which of these are sponsors/advertisers vs. organic listings you guys currated?

      Thanks

Right. I was expecting a list of products that most people would be shopping for and instead got a list of mostly niche specialty things that would better belong on a list titled something different. And is there data to support all of these items being awarded? #datacratic Cool list of interesting items, but not what I was expecting on a “best of” list.
