ClubGlider Gets A Glow-Up: Sun Mountain x Manors Is Here

Sun Mountain makes some of the most practical golf bags. And, recently, they’ve made some strides when it comes to fashion. This new collab is an extension of Sun Mountains elite run as they try to capture a new golfer, one who may not fully be aware of the brand’s rich history.

The Sun Mountain x Manors drop covers two bags: the ClubGlider3 travel bag and the E-2.5 stand bag. Both get a grey geometric pattern, stone-colored fabric, black accents and co-branded details. It’s understated. It’s clean. It’s the kind of bag that gets a “where’d you get that?” on the first tee.

ClubGlider3

If you’ve flown with clubs, you know the ClubGlider. And if you don’t know the ClubGlider, you better get familiar. There is no product under the sun that has made my golf travel more seamless than this bag.

Those retractable legs take the weight off so you’re rolling, not dragging, through the terminal. The third-gen version landed this summer with a built-in TSA lock and an internal AirTag pocket which is basically a cheat code for lost-luggage roulette.

E-2.5

We liked the E-2.5 when it launched last month and nothing here changes that. At 4.4 pounds, it’s built for walkers. You get Sun Mountain’s new Ergonomic Dual Strap System, a 7.75-inch four-way top with full-length dividers and nine pockets. The standouts are a magnetic rangefinder pocket, a lined valuables pocket and a cooler-lined bottle holder because warm water on the back nine is a crime.

The Bottom Line

Most collabs go one of two ways: all looks and no substance or a logo slapped on something you already own. This one dodges both. Sun Mountain brings the function, Manors brings the style, and you get a bag that does its job and looks good doing it.

Both bags are available at sunmountain.com and select retailers. Limited edition means limited so don’t sleep on it.
