Best Skechers Golf Shoes (2025)

In our 2025 golf shoe testing, we evaluated five Skechers models, four spikeless and one spiked. The top performers were the Skechers Go Golf Elite Vortex Rival and the Go Golf Prestige SL. If you’re looking for comfortable golf shoes at a lower price point than most competitors, these are the best Skechers golf shoes of 2025.

Skechers Go Golf Elite Vortex Rival (Most comfortable spiked shoe)

Skeckers golf shoes tend to rank well for comfort. The Go Golf Elite Vortex Rival continues that dominance in the comfort category. It’s the most comfortable spiked golf shoe of 2025 and is very affordable. If you’ve been sleeping on Skechers, now’s the time to wake up.

Buy this if:

✅ You want a budget-friendly spiked shoe that still delivers elite comfort.
✅ You care more about all-day comfort than having Tour-level traction.

Don’t buy this if:

❌ You play in wet or hilly conditions and need aggressive traction.

Skechers Go Golf Prestige SL (3rd-place overall spikeless)

The Prestige SL blends traditional styling with Skechers’ hands-free Slip-ins technology. It’s the most comfortable traditional golf shoe we’ve tested and one of the easiest to put on and take off. If your goal is to stick to a traditional look but not sacrifice on performance or spend too much, the Prestige SL is one to consider.

Buy this if:

✅ You want a hands-free shoe that looks traditional but feels modern.
✅ You have mobility issues or hate tying laces.

Don’t buy this if:

❌ You prioritize traction above all else. It’s not bad but not at the level of adidas or PAYNTR.

Skechers Go Golf Elite 6 (Most comfortable spikeless shoe)

Yes, Skechers won the most comfortable spikeless shoe and the most comfortable spiked shoe of 2025. The Elite 6 is waterproof, has a removable Arch Fit insole and is ideal for golfers who want a soft, cushioned ride at an affordable price.

Buy this if:

✅ You want a waterproof, spikeless shoe with cloud-like comfort.
✅ You prefer flexibility over rigidity in your golf shoes.

Don’t buy this if:

❌ You need a shoe with maximum stability. This one leans more flexible than firm.

Skechers Go Golf Flight (Best-value spikeless shoe)

The Go Golf Flight is one of the most affordable shoes on the market. It easily won the best-value spikeless golf shoe of 2025. Aside from being affordable, the Go Golf Flight still delivers signature Skechers comfort. It’s a no-brainer for budget-conscious golfers who walk a lot.

Buy this if:

✅ You’re looking for unbeatable comfort under $100.
✅ You want a lightweight, cushy shoe that doesn’t drain your wallet.

Don’t buy this if:

❌ You need top-tier traction — it’s passable, but not tour-level.

Skechers Go Golf Drive 6

The Skechers Go Golf Drive 6 is the fifth Skechers shoe we tested in 2025. It was the lowest-performing, finishing outside the top 15 best spikeless shoes. The Drive 6’s traction and stability didn’t compete with other shoes in the test.

It still holds up well in comfort and protection from the elements. Keep in mind that these run about half a size small.

✅ You want a budget-friendly shoe with solid comfort and decent weather protection.
✅ You don’t need top-tier stability and are willing to size up a half.

❌ You need a secure, locked-in feel and strong traction performance.

How Skechers golf shoes compared in 2025

Skechers continues to build on their comfort-first reputation and in 2025 they delivered some of the most budget-friendly shoes in the entire test.

Comfort kings in every category

Whether you go with a spiked or spikeless model, you’re getting the best comfort if you choose a Skechers shoe. The Elite Vortex Rival led the spiked field in comfort and the Elite 6 was the best for comfort in the spikeless test. All but one Skechers model tested scored above 44 out of 45 in the comfort category.

Outstanding value that doesn’t feel cheap

Value is where Skechers separates itself. The Elite Vortex Rival is one of the best-priced spiked models overall and arguably the best in terms of comfort per dollar. If you’re not brand-sensitive and looking for great value, the Skechers brand as a whole is worth considering.

Good enough traction but not elite

You’ll notice as you review the Skechers shoes that traction is an underperforming category. While it won’t be a dealbreaker for most casual players, if you play in wet or uneven conditions or are a competitive fast-swinging golfer, you may want to look elsewhere.

Which Skechers golf shoes should you buy?

Still unsure which Skechers model fits your game and your feet? Here’s how to decide based on your priorities.

  • If you want maximum comfort in a spiked shoe: Go with the Elite Vortex Rival it is the most comfortable spiked shoe in the 2025 test.
  • If you want a traditional look and easy on/off tech: The Prestige SL gives you hands-free slip-ins and classic styling.
  • If you want waterproof protection in a spikeless model: Choose the Elite 6 waterproof: flexible and comfortable.
  • If you’re on a budget: The Go Golf Flight gives you top-tier comfort for under $100.

I’d never buy a pair of Skechers shoes, and that goes to never ever for golf shoes. That would be like buying Dockers golf pants, if they make golf pants.

Frustrating for those of with larger shoe sizes (14). Skechers seems to all ways leave us out.

yeah, okay, for the billionth time I will point out (as others have as well) that TRUE shoes have not or never been listed in your comparison or shoe ratings (likely because they didn’t send you free product). This is a travesty, as I have been wearing various iterations of their spineless shoes for 12-15 years and have NEVER found any more comfortable. GET WITH IT–go out and buy a pair of Lux Hybrids and publish a REAL rating.

Just an FYI. Listing size ranges would be nice. None of these shoes come larger than size 13. Pretty limiting IMHO.
