Looking For Custom Golf Balls? Here Are 5 To Try

If you’re tired of marking your golf ball with a Sharpie and want something a little more fun, there are options. Custom golf balls have become more popular and choices are available across various price ranges to accommodate your needs. Here are five custom golf balls to try.

TaylorMade My Symbol

TaylorMade MySymbol takes golf ball personalization to the next level. They offer a wide range of customization options. Available on the TP5 and TP5x, TaylorMade’s premium “tour-level” golf balls. MySymbol allows you to choose from more than 100 stock symbols, custom text and color changes for the logo and numbers.

I worked through the process a bit and there are two basic options: a MySymbol ball already designed by TaylorMade and one that you customize yourself. When you start playing around with numbers and colors and personalizing, you pay $59.99 a dozen with a minimum purchase of four dozen.

Right now, there is a promotion where one dozen is free. My quote for the four dozen was around $180 during this promotional period.

If you choose the non-personalized ones with just the extra logo or symbol on them, you’ll pay $59.99 a dozen and there’s no minimum purchase required.

Key features

Personalization options: Choose from symbols, custom text and color variations
Available models: TP5 and TP5x (TaylorMade’s premium five-layer golf balls)
Customization choices:

  • Replace the standard number with a symbol.
  • Add text (up to four characters for the logo area, up to eight on the side).
  • Change the TaylorMade logo color (black, navy, green, red, orange, pink).

Vice

Vice Golf is a great option if you don’t want to be limited by the golf balls you get to customize. Their entire lineup of balls is fully customizable. Vice allows you to upload your own images, logos or custom text. Whether you’re adding a personal touch or branding golf balls for an event, Vice provides extensive options.

My favorite thing about the Vice custom golf ball program is the option to purchase more and save. While something like the Vice Pro Air starts at $39.99, you can get it down to $32.99 per dozen if you purchase six.

Key features

Personalization options: Customize with text, images, logos and alignment aids
Available models: All Vice Golf models including Vice Pro Plus, Pro, Pro Air, Tour and Drive
Customization choices:

  • Text: Up to three lines in multiple colors
  • Images: Upload any image or logo
  • Alignment aid: Custom alignment designs for improved putting accuracy
  • Print options: Choose single-sided or double-sided printing

Callaway

Callaway offers personalized golf balls across a wide range of models. The options are basic personalization, focusing on text, alignment aids and color choices.

Callaway provides simple but effective customization options whether you want to add a personal message, improve alignment with a straight or target line or choose a custom text color.

Key features

Personalization options: Custom text, straight-line alignment aids, target lines
Available models: Premium and value-tier golf balls including Chrome Tour, Chrome Tour X, Chrome Soft, ERC Soft, Supersoft and Warbird models
Customization choices:

  • Text: Add a personal message in various colors
  • Alignment aid: Choose between a straight line or a target line to assist with putting alignment
  • Color options: Customize text and alignment aids in multiple colors
  • Corporate logo program: Available for businesses and events with a 12-dozen minimum order requirement

golfballs.com

GolfBalls.com offers one of the most flexible golf ball customization options, allowing you to personalize a wide variety of brands including Titleist, Callaway, Bridgestone, Srixon, Wilson, Volvik and more.

If the golf ball you normally play doesn’t offer customization on their website, GolfBalls.com would be a good place to check. I also noticed that some of their pricing was better than other websites so keep that in mind.

Key features

Personalization options: Customize with text, monograms, icons and logos
Available models: A wide selection across major brands including Pro V1, TP5, Chrome Soft, Z-Star, Tour B and more
Customization choices:

  • Personalized text: Add a custom message or name
  • Monograms: Stylish initials for a classic, professional look
  • Icons: Choose from 25 different pre-made icons
  • IDAlign and target lines: Custom alignment aid options

Titleist

When it comes to custom golf balls, Titleist offers one of the most extensive and user-friendly personalization options. Whether you want a custom play number, personalized text, logo or a special alignment aid, Titleist makes it easy to customize their entire lineup.

It was my favorite tool as I worked through all of these custom golf ball options. They provide licensed sports icons and exclusive customization options that set them apart from the rest. You also have the option of doing a “mark” customization which puts a unique icon of your choice just after the Titleist logo.

They are running a deal right now that allows you to purchase four dozen and get one dozen free.

Key features

Personalization options: Custom numbers, text, icons, alignment aids and exclusive sports icons

Available models: Full customization across the entire Titleist lineup including Pro V1, Pro V1x, AVX, Tour Soft, Velocity and TruFeel.
Customization choices:

  • Play number: Choose a custom number for your ball
  • Text personalization: Add a name, initials or custom message
  • Logos and images: Upload your own or choose from icons
  • Alignment aid: Select from Pro V1 Enhanced Alignment or custom alignment options
