Here are the best golf clubs of 2024. PING has quite a few selections but we also have brand names like Tommy Armour and Tour Edge that may not typically have been thought of as contenders for “best of the best” categories.
Throughout all of our testing, we put a strong emphasis on accuracy. You won’t score well if you can’t hit the ball close to your target. If a golf club was good enough to win a spot on this list, outstanding accuracy was one of its features.

Longest golf clubs of 2024
If distance is your main focus when shopping for new golf clubs, you’ll want to look at the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke line. We were surprised to see a draw-biased driver be the longest in 2024.
The Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Max D was more than 15 yards longer than some drivers in the 2024 test. (We don’t have a wedge listed for the distance metric as distance with your wedges shouldn’t be a priority. Accuracy should be.)
One common theme when testing the longest golf clubs of 2024 is the loss of accuracy and consistency as distance increases. Make sure your distance gains are worth that trade-off.

Most accurate golf clubs of 2024
If you are looking to lower your scores, you need the most accurate golf clubs. It’s no surprise that when you glance at this list, you’ll see some names repeated from the best overall golf clubs of 2024 list. When a golf club is accurate, it’s a better choice.
PING was able to grab three spots again.
The MacGregor MACSPD was a surprise. While it struggles when it comes to distance, it can be a good choice for golfers more concerned about control than distance.

Most forgiving golf clubs of 2024
Forgiveness tells us how consistently a golf club can produce similar shot outcomes. The most forgiving golf clubs of 2024 are those you can rely on to help you hit the same great shot time after time.
We included a wedge here, the Sub 70 TAIII, but our wedge testing is slightly different from the rest of our golf club testing. For wedges, we measure accuracy, spin and consistency. The Sub 70 TAIII was the most consistent of the wedges we tested so it deserved a spot on this list.
