Top 4 Best Blade Putters from 10 Feet

The 10-foot putt can make or break your score, especially when you’re not hitting every chip or pitch to tap-in range. Even your best approach shots might leave you about 10 feet from the pin. Sinking a few of these putts during your round could mean the difference between shooting a 94 or an 89. If you’re searching for the best blade putters from 10 feet, the T-Squared Putters TS-912 stands out as the best choice.

T Squared Putters TS-912

T-Squared putters

Who Is It For?

✅ Players who need to make 10-footers: The best overall blade style putter from 10 feet.

Golfers who struggle with overactive hands. The round grip and unique alignment line work together to help keep the hands out of the stroke.

Who Is It Not For?

Anyone who struggles with shorter putts: The overall performance from five feet was not great with the T Squared.

Newer golfers who don’t have distance control figured out: With average performance from 20 feet, new players should look for something that simplifies distance control.

Why Buy

The T Squared TS-912 not only took third place overall but also finished as the best overall from the 10-foot range. We emphasize the importance of the 10-foot putts in our testing because they are so important from a scoring perspective.

With the T Squared in the top five for 35 percent of the testing field, it easily took the first-place spot. Again, you’ll run into the same issue we saw with the Zebra Black Milled Series 003: As great as this putter performs, its looks were not a fan favorite.

T Squared putters have never been included in our testing before so for one to grab third place overall and be the best from 10 feet says something.

Another thing to remember about a stock T Squared putter is the round grip. There were mixed reactions from our testing pool but they were making 10-foot putts!

COBRA Grandsport-3S 3D Printed

Who Is It For?

The golfer who wants a mix of a classic blade with modern performance. It’s still a blade but you’ll also get modern 3D-printed performance.

Someone looking for forgiveness on off-center strikes. If you miss the center of the putter face often and want to get yourself back on track, this is a high MOI blade.

Who Is It Not For?

Players looking for better distance control: One of the biggest negatives of the Grandsport-3S blade is its distance control capabilities.

Anyone looking for a sleek blade style: The COBRA Grandsport-3S 3D printed putter is a bulkier blade.

Why Buy

The COBRA Grandsport-3S 3D Printed putter is tied for second with a score of 9/10 from the 10-foot range. One of the features of the COBRA Grandsport that likely helped the performance here is the 3D-printed lattice structure meant to increase the MOI.

Forgiveness in a blade putter is not unheard of!

The COBRA Grandsport-3S blade features descending loft technology to help improve the initial roll of the ball. However, the oversized head is something you’ll have to get used to in a blade-style putter.

TaylorMade TP Reserve TR-B11

Who Is It For?

✅ Someone looking for a clean-looking blade putter: More premium look and feel on this TaylorMade TP Reserve TR-B11.

The golfer who needs more one-putts. With the TaylorMade TP Reserve, you can walk up to a 10-foot putt with the idea of making it, not two-putting.

Who Is It Not For?

❌ Players on a budget: One of the more premium-priced options in the 2024 Best Blade Putters test.

❌ Golfers who miss the short ones: If you struggle with the short putts, you may want a putter with a bit more stability, width and better performance from five feet.

Why Buy

Next in line is the TaylorMade TP Reserve TR-B11. Performance from 10 feet was ranked 9/10, just like thevCOBRA. This premium TaylorMade putter is CNC milled from 303 stainless steel and designed with a clean and thin top line.

The grooves provide a softer feel at impact if that is what you are looking for in your putter performance. Testers said this putter had a premium feel and sound.

The TP Reserve is a higher-priced putter, typically around $399, so you’ll want to get fitted for it to ensure it works for you from all areas of the green.

Zebra Black Milled Series 003

Who Is It For?

✅ Someone looking for a good mix of performance: The Zebra Black Milled Series 003 performed well from 10 and 20 feet.

The golfer who wants a unique alignment line. They call this one the “Zebra” for a reason. You’ll see the classic stripes on the alignment aid.

Who Is It Not For?

❌ Players worried about short putts: The Zebra Black Milled Series 003 has great performance from 10 to 20 feet but is not a top choice from five feet.

❌ Golfers who don’t remember the original Zebra putters. You’ll either love or hate this classic Zebra design. It may not be for you if you don’t remember the original.

Why Buy

The Zebra Black Milled Series 003 was the final putter, scoring 9 from the 10-foot distance. Thirty percent of our testers had the Zebra Black Milled Series 003 in their top five when putting from 10 feet.

We love this one for its 10-foot range and it’s also strong from 20 feet, scoring 9/10.

As much as the Zebra Black Milled Series 003 can perform, testers were not thrilled with its subjective appeal. If you are serious about performance, which you should be, this is a smart putter to go with.

For older golfers, Zebra offers a bit of nostalgia. You’ll get the classic stripes as your alignment aid and a milled, wide blade with contrast.

Do yourself a favor. Go to a qualified club fitter and let them watch you with your putter. Scott Felix checked me with my putter, made a bend in the shaft and I AM CONFIDENT FROM ANYWHERE ON THE GREEN. I am deadly from 8 feet. You can by all the putters in the world but GET FITTED!

Scott Felix is hands down the best fitter in the Memphis area. Have gone to him several times and have never been disappointed with the results.

Why would I want a putter that’s good from 10 feet, but not very good from 5 feet? I’d much rather make a higher percentage of putts from 5 feet than 10 feet. That’s going to drop your score much faster.

Whether I’m using my new Ai-one mallet or my ancient “Dynacraft Drop-in” (an Anser knockoff) doesn’t seem to make much of a difference in my score, from any distance. One just looks nicer. I’m pretty convinced these test results are effectively random. You should include a standard mini golf putter as a control variable every year.

Nice idea. I agree. I still use my dad’s 1960 something 4 Star putter; it would be considered a mini-golf putter. Always putted well with it. I also have a Scotty and Evnroll; nice putters, but same results. Feel off the face, the 4 Star tops the other 2.

I really like my SC Squareback 2. But I have always said it more the indian that the arrow. A bad putter will always be a bad putter, regardless of the equipment, unless they are willing to put in the time to perfect the touch and tempo it takes to be a good putter. A number of the best putters on the tour are using older models effectively. A lot of putting is 90% mental and the other 10% is all in your head. ha..ha..ha.. have a good day guys.
