Top Three Longest Drivers of 2024

Distance makes golf easier. You’ll be further down the fairway, have short irons and wedges as you approach the green, and realistic looks at birdie. However, first, you need to narrow down which drivers actually produce the most distance. The top three longest drivers in 2024 are the Callaway Paradym AI Smoke Max D, the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond, and the Srixon ZX7 MKII. If you’re on the hunt for a few extra yards, a simple driver switch could change your entire game.

The Callaway Paradym AI Smoke Max D’s workability was a bit of a surprise. Even with the driver being draw-biased, it sits nicely and allows you to hit a slight fade on occasion if you want one. This one works for slow, medium and fast swing speeds.

Lastly, don’t scroll past this one if you are a better player who thinks draw bias is for high handicappers. If you need distance and workability, you’ll find it here.

All manufactures bring out new models every few years and Callaway isn’t any different. I don’t have a clue what you’re talking about. If they did why would you care ? It sounds like you’re not a Callaway buyer.

I like Callaway drivers and fairway woods. I own a Rogue ST and love it. I demo the new Smoke and didn’t noticed a difference. Both when hit high on the face they travel farther then when hit in middle which helps my game.

I hit a drive about 200 yards carry, maybe 210 or 215, using a 3 yr old well regarded driver. In anybody’s opinion, Is my wallet safe?

I wouldn’t ever buy anything from Callaway ever again, they release too many per year and doesn’t hold value, also their drivers are overrated. I’ve gone to Ping and it out preforms Callaway easily.

And you can absolutely quantify the results? These guys at Mygolfspy spend hundreds of hours testing dozens of drivers, balls, irons and many other golf products and you’re claiming your anecdotal experience trumps their research? Wow, just wow!

I recently was given a 2004 vintage Callaway Big Bertha 454 Ti driver. Been using it to bomb away. Bought another one for a different loft too. Don’t know why but it works visually and in use for me. Something in the rounded shape look I guess.

Thank you for the information. I have been looking between ping and Callaway too.

Not sure about this as I was always taught that the driver performance was way more dependent on the correct shaft than the head. The shaft worked best if it was fitted to your swing. That is the engine, the head added to performance only through the correct loft.

I am sure you are mostly correct but the newest batch of driver heads have a lot of forgiveness. The loss of distance on off center hits is becoming non existent with these new drivers which is a very cool thing. I tend to stick with a shaft and buy driver heads only.

Ready to put the Triple Diamond Smoke MAX against these? I’m ready for you to do it – but that club may be too “niche” for you guys to review.

When these tests and conclusions were made, the TD Max hadn’t been released so it wasn’t included along with PXG Black OPS and maybe a couple of others I am forgetting. Next year they can go against any new offerings like the Titleist GT and whatever the companies on an annual renewal cycle put out.
