Stock Up For Golf Season: The Best Free Golf Ball Deals Right Now

“Free golf balls” may sound too good to be true but if you’re willing to buy in bulk, it’s a real possibility. Right now, some of the top brands are competing to get golfers to purchase balls in bulk to be ready for the season. If you are ready to stock up, now’s the time to do it on some of these limited-time “free” golf ball deals.

The best “Buy 3, Get 1 Free” deals

For each of these deals, you buy four dozen and get one for free. Most require you to put all four dozen in the cart. The Callaway deals are a little different. They are sold as a pack of four dozen and the price is already discounted to reflect getting one dozen for free.

Most of the premium models are priced about the same but adding personalization can increase the overall prices.

The best “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” deals

You’ll notice that many deals where you get a dozen free golf balls are for premium golf balls. A few other companies offer these deals where you only have to purchase two dozen and you end up with one free.

A few other deals

These next few deals don’t necessarily offer free golf balls but you still get a discount when you buy in bulk.

Vice

Vice always rewards purchasing golf balls in bulk. The Vice Pro Plus is $39.99 a dozen. If you purchase six dozen, the price drops to $32.99. You’ll save about $42 buying six dozen at a time.

However, for a limited time, Vice is offering a buy five get one free special. Add six dozen golf balls to your cart and then insert the promo code: FREEDOZEN. The offer is only valid until March 26th.

Does buying golf balls in bulk make sense?

Buying golf balls in bulk helps you pay less per ball. If you hit one off the tee and it ends up in the pond, it’s sometimes a little easier to swallow when the ball was $3, not $4. In addition to the pure cost savings, you can bring some consistency to your golf game by using the same golf ball round after round.

Go for a ball fitting or use an online ball fitting tool to narrow down which is best for you. Then, when you see a good deal, take advantage of it.

After years of testing and product analysis, we know that the golf ball you play with matters. If you aren’t playing with a premium ball or the right one simply because it’s too expensive, buying in bulk could help.

Final thoughts

If you hate paying full price for golf balls as much as I do, now is the time to stock up. If you are curious about what other golfers are buying, here are some resources for you.

Don’t forget the standing sales on Maxfli. Buying 4 dozen at $120 is basically the same as buy 3, get one free.
