Final thoughts
The average price per dozen of the top 10 best-selling golf balls on Amazon is $35.50. The dominant brands are TaylorMade and Callaway, each securing four spots, while Titleist and Vice Golf round out the rankings.
One trend that stands out is how many golfers purchase prior-generation models to save money while still getting premium golf ball performance. The Titleist Prior Generation Pro V1 and Callaway Chrome Soft True Track are good examples.

Hey, I tried a new ball today when I guy at the course gave me a attomax ball. He claimed it was matched to my swing speed and would fly like a rocket. It played all right, but was not any longer than my Srixon Q Star Tour. It did seem to spin less off the driver and it took a couple of holes to get the hang of putting it. After the round we looked it up online and found out it is non-conforming. The real shock though was that it cost $20.75 per ball. That right! $20.75 per ball. Ridiculous!
