In the first part of our conversation with Evnroll founder Guerin Rife, we discussed the evolution of the putter groove. In part 2, Guerin described the ah-ha moment that led to the development of the Evnroll groove.
Beginning about the 14:00 mark, Adam and Guerin unveil and discuss Evnroll’s 2019 lineup.
Be sure to SUBSCRIBE & COMMENT on our YouTube video for your chance to win one of the new models.

3 years agoWhy didn’t you include the ER9 (10K Extreme) when you presented the 2019 EvnRoll line-up? I just took delivery today on one and feels fantastic.

4 years agoEvnroll putter is the best i have ever used. I have a collection of 50 or so putters. 3-4 scottys, 15 or so odysseys, 5-6 ping blades and others. I own the er2, er5 and the er7. The er 5 is my absolute favorite putter of all time !!!! If the ball doesnt go in, its me not the putter !!!!
LOVE the murdered ER 5 !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ernie Padden
4 years agoI recently was fitted for an Evnroll putter. During the fitting process I tested all of the 2018 Evnroll models. My biggest problem was deciding which model I wanted to purchase because I liked all of the models that fit my stroke. That’s a great problem. After considerabIe deliberation I settled on the ER2.
For me, it’s not even close. It’s the best putter I’ve ever owned or tested. It is the purest most consistent putter I’ve ever stroked. For anyone who questions whether the Evnroll “groove technology” is gimmick or real, I can assure you that it’s real. Although I’ve only played a few rounds with my new ER2, I am already more confident with it and I believe that this comfort has translated to greater confidence which has translated to a more relaxed stroke.

4 years agoI’m not sure I would consider a Evnroll putter, but now I will after viewing the youtube video. The technology behind the grooves really makes sense.

4 years agoHuge Rife putter fan, Love the new line up! How bout sending me one!
AndyW
4 years agoJust checking, but are Evnroll putters USGA conforming? Especially concerned about putterface “concavity” based on video that off-center hits either go straight or even cross the line (curve).
The Mad Hacker
4 years agoI’ve been playing the Rife 2 Bar Hybrid since it came out. Nothing has come close to replacing that, except now. Got my eye on an Evnroll er7cs. I’m also really intrigued by the Gravity core grip tech.
Guerin is the real deal. A putter mastermind.
Jochen
4 years agoI have the ER2 and I love it. Used to play center-shafted but the ER2CS came out after I got my ER2. Not sure which one would be better or if maybe the new ER2 would be the right one.
Kind of difficult to test them here in Germany.
Jamalski
4 years agoDid you get fitted? I’m looking for a place to try the whole range once it’s going to be released. Maybe you can share some information, cause it might be difficult in GER.
Matt H
4 years agoI dont really believe that random people that make dumb comments kissing evnroll and golfspy butt actually recieve free stuff. I actually plan to hold my breath until i get my er8. If it wasnt murdered out with gravity grip, i would probably send it back and begin holding breath again. It wouldnt really be worth going on without it. Maybe i will just get a second mortgage and buy one instead…

4 years agoI was a loyal SC putter user for a long time, but once I played a round with Evnroll ER8, I made the switch right away and have never gone back to SC putters. I want to get my hands on Murdered out ER5!! I hope I can win it here!!
Matthew Begbie
4 years agoI’d love to give one of these a roll. I play with a Taylormade spider tour platinum which I really like, it’s doesn’t wobble on the takeaway which has been the bain of my putting. Thanks for the excellent information and video!

4 years agoHave tried a few Evnroll putters recently as I am looking to buy a new one in the New Year. Very impressed especially with the ER5, ER7 and ER8. Perfectly balanced for me. Will look out for the new line when it comes out.

4 years agobeen intrigued about these putters for a few years, just seeing really limited selection in our local golf towns
Ian Tarrant
4 years agoLove Golftown, but hate buying putters from them as they leave all putters, regardless of price out for any 8 year old accompanying their dad spending his Fathers Day gift card…
You see $500 putters, Evnrolls inc with scratches, dings, etc and I just can’t spend full retail on ‘used’ putters.
Go to Evnroll’s Canadian website and customize your stick – Great service and fast delivery, you won’t be sorry!

4 years agoI’m in. I rolled an ER-7 recently at PGASuperstore and was amazed at how consistent my putts were. It’s great to see this – as I was about to pull the trigger on an ER-7 so think I’ll wait for gravity grip too… Cool stuff.
Marc Mickiewicz
4 years agoPutters looks great.
John Meister
4 years agoThe right combination of technology and art. The ER7 has measurably improved my putting along with my confidence. The service of Evnroll staff is top shelf. The blackened ER5 looks awesome. Sign me up on the waiting list!

4 years agoReally enjoyed video. Liked the info.

4 years agoHave been using Callaway BJ-3 for years with not so good results , changed normal to over hand to finger left hand grip still three putt greens. Evnroll have gone to great lengths to discount toe/heel discrepancies. 2019 models are impressive, comments from other golfers online seem pleased with older models. where in Australia (Gold Coast) can i experience Evnroll putters.
Ken Varisco
4 years agoGreat Video! The tech makes a lot of sense and is very exciting. I’ve got to roll one of these putters!

4 years agoGreat interview. My ER7 has been great since I got it in June and has definitely contributed to lowering my handicap by 1.5 since then. The 2dot information was great to hear.

4 years agoI’m a big fan of Evnroll. Have been using the ER2 for more than a year with excellent results.
Love the look of the new plumb neck ER2 version. Could see it being the main backup to the current gamer.
Would be thrilled to win one.
Planning to try out the Gravity Grip too.
Thanks for the opportunity.

4 years agoPlease enter me for a murdered out version of the Hatchback putter.
Currently have the 2018 Hatchback.
The new grip will be installed on this putter.
Thanks for the opportunity.

4 years agoBest golf tech videos ever – want more of those! Questions to Guerin : do you feel your technology s well protected so you can keep this competitive advantage long enough ? And given you offer now the best product in the industry, do you think Evnroll can become a market leader in sales as well, or at least in top 3?
Bill Bolton
4 years agoGreat to hear about the science behind the putter and how it was tested. Hope I win!

4 years agoI would love to have one of the new Evnroll Putters. I currently have a Guerin Rife 2 bar blade and an ER 7, great putters. Will have to fit them with the new grip.
Jim Kenworthy
4 years agoNo BS. Used Camerons for years. Most recently Newport Select M2. Smithed to EVNRoll ER7. Best thing I have done to improve my putting. Virtually eliminated 3 putts. Confidence has improved substantially. Feel I can make every putt within 10 feet. I am a believer!
Not sure I am ready to give up what I have.

4 years agoUsed a 2 bar putter for a season, tested the er5 and the tech is real for me. Gravity grip is interesting, the counter balance is in a different location I can see where it might work better than the extra weight accumulated at the butt end of the grip
Todd Stuart
4 years agoI love what Mr Rife has done with the putter! I currently own two of his putters, the third one I had was stolen. These putters are the best!
Joe Gaudin
4 years agovery interesting video. have used ping answer and craz-e scotsdale for many years. I generally putt like most golfers and pros some day drop every putt and some day cant roll in in the pacific if I was standing on the beach. this video has got me in the mind to test them again especially the offset shaft and the gravity grip. ive never found a grip i was comfortable with over time. GOOD JOB TO BOTH OF YOU
Michael
4 years agoSo thankful for you guys doing this series, what a great innovator Mr. Rife is. I would love to try that Tour Stroke or the ER1TS, but that murdered out ER5 is very eye catching.

4 years agoER2.2!!! Love my Evnroll but looking down at the flow-neck just doesn’t suit me. Putter might work even better with an actual fitting. 🙂

4 years agoI play an ER 3 and love it with a Winn oversize grip. I love the putter with this heavy grip. I am totally intrigued about the Gravity Grip. Where can I get on and how many types do they have?
mackdaddy
4 years agoI have been on Evnrolls site and googled Gravity grips. Where and how can I get one of these grips?
Ron
4 years agoMr Rife obviously cares a lot about what goes into his putters, from both design and quality perspectives. I have an ER2, and it’s the only putter I’ve ever considered spending anywhere near that much money on. I’ve never regretted it for a nanosecond. It’s the most consistent putter I’ve ever played and the only one I’ve ever been this comfortable over.
steve soo
4 years agoVery interesting . I’d like to try the new putter grip.
Ian Tarrant
4 years agoGot my custom ER1.2 blade from my friends at ‘Evnroll Canada’ a few weeks ago – Custom length, loft and weight, amazing job. Really loving it and I’m sinking more putts. Period!

4 years agoI would nearly die to win one of these putters. Working at the 2006 Sr. Men’s Open at Prairie Dunes, where I was a member, I saw Jim Thorpe putting with a very large and strange looking putter. I thought perhaps he had made it in his garage. Turns out to have been a Rife two -bar, which I bought after quite a search and have used off and on since then.

4 years agoI ve got 10 putters maybe this is the one I need to win the club championship
Mel Woolf
4 years agoHave followed Guerin for years. My ER5 opened my eyes to how good a putter could be. My current ER8, a Heston said ” You will have to try from my cold dead hands”. I would say that it couldn’t get better but I know Guerin will prove me wrong, I hope. I look forward to to that happening.
The staff at Evenroll has been great to work with as I live in a smaller market area and must travel several hours to find product.
Keep up the great work. Both Evenroll and Mygolfspy.
JD
4 years agoVery interesting to learn how the Evnroll putters evolved. The ‘Tour Stroke’ shaft so different, but science behind it makes sense.
Looking to plan a day trip (2-3 hour drive) to get to a store that carries these putters. Excited about trying them out.
Matt
4 years agoAmazing technology and information about the putters! As an avid golfer and a science nerd, I totally dig the science and engineering! Thanks for everything y’all do.

4 years agoGuerin Rife is a true visionary & engineer! Rife Two-Bar was a great putter in its day, and Guerin continues to create clubs that WORK! If I don’t win, I plan on investing in an Evnroll putter after Christmas as I await the snow to melt.

4 years agoMy sisters and I started last year redoing our dad’s golf bag(old school tech from the early 90’s) and the first thing we did was get him fitted for a new putter after 3 trips we decided on the ER6. Now he makes it up on the green where he has shaved between 2-3 per round. He just loves how no matter if he hits it a little on the heel or toe it still goes the distance he was shooting to.

4 years agoLove the content and would really love to provide feedback on the new ER line. Thanks for all the great content!
Steve Pearcy
4 years agoInteresting, worthy approach. A somewhat different approach than Ping’s TR with some potential improvement (lateral miss correction?). Would this be applicable to other golf clubs? I suspect not for the most part as the other clubs tend to be designed with the highest smash factor at the point where you are supposed to strike the ball.
Steve Cameron
4 years agoWould love to have the “murdered out” version, it matches my SUV!

4 years agoGuerin Rife has done great things for the game. I hope this brand catches on better than his past projects and competes successfully with the big brands that dominate the market. I always cringe when people gravitate toward a mass-produced product from a brand they see on TV rather than a quality product that fits their game, especially when I see it with younger, promising golfers.
A college teammate introduced me to the Rife brand back in 2005/2006, and I quickly switched over to the 2Bar (also convincing my dad to make the switch), keeping it in the bag for a couple years and becoming a proponent of his putters (I still have one in the basement, which I’ve lent out to friends on a few occasions that were looking for a new putter). I bounced around with some bigger names for a while and finally went back to Mr. Rife’s putter lines this year — first going back to the 2Bar, then picking up a Guerin Tour Spec that has been in my bag since June (it is awesome). EvnRoll is the likely next step, I just haven’t pulled the trigger yet — winning one would make the decision easy, and even if I don’t end up liking it as much as the Guerin, I could give it to my dad or a good friend of mine, both of which would seriously benefit from the groove technology.
WILLIAM O WILLIAMS
4 years agoReally enjoyed both videos !! The tech, feel, and look is there in all the style of Evnroll Putters !!

4 years agoI tried the EVNROLL putters at an event in the UK this year and was really impressed with the design concepts and this video has only strengthen my belief that this man is thinking about the design and not just looking creating market share as with the big brands. Love the idea behind the alignment and the Gravity grips.
One negative I had on the test was that they were a little softer than my current and other putters I have tried, but I guess that would be something to get used to,
I spent a lot on Driver, fairway and wedges this year so next year I will definitely revisit the EVNROLL range.

4 years agoVery interesting and innovative tech. I’ve been wanting to try one of these putters but haven’t pulled the trigger.
Tim Delay
4 years agoGreat video. I’d love to try this versus my current Evnroll putter
Niall Kelly
4 years agoI have the original er7 but would love to try the new tour strike/stroke editions!
Bamafan10
4 years agoReally good intel. I like the concept of “twist face” technology in a putter; however, it seems to me that this only works (toe and heel struck putts) on a single fixed distance…say for example 10 feet (assuming that is the distance measured and milled to obtain toe and heel struck putts to the same line as center hit putts). If you’re putting from any different distance than that engineered milling sweet spot (say 6 feet, or 20 feet, etc.), the “gear effect” bringing those toe/heel struck putts back to center will fall short or go past the center line.
Still, fantastic video and very informative. I would love to get my hands on an Evnroll putter and/or training putter and improve my suspect putting game! As always, thanks guys.
Jason
4 years agoNot sure about the grip, but I would like to get my hands on the ER2.
Matt Blankenship
4 years agoI’ve been following Evnroll since MGS started testing and providing results. It was only this past March that I was able to try several models out. What I’ve now been waiting for is the chance to get fitted. A couple of the models fit my eye but I want the fitter’s feedback as well as what I feel to dictate which model to buy. Yup, I’ll buy one and hopefully one of the new model year putters. Great interview!
Vince
4 years agoGreat interview, Adam – love the new Evnroll lineup for 2019!
Eric
4 years agoGreat video I’d live to update my 25 year old TaylorMade’s nubbins! That #9 would be sweet!
Lou
4 years agoFascinating video, technology and the man Guerin Rife. I have been trying the mallet at my local shop since summer but, have not pulled the trigger on a purchase. The new grip technology and the black finish will probably push me into a purchase . Cannot wait to try them in my local store. When will they be released?
scott stewart
4 years agowould love to add this to my bag, I’ve been using Kevin Burns for the last few years but the technology of this makes a lot of sense and anything that makes more puts drop is worth a try.
David Rees
4 years agoI’m already using the ER8 Mallet and I have to say my putting has improved since purchasing it. The Gravity Grip is intriguing I just might have to spring for one.
Jerry Hopkins
4 years agoNow I finally understand how the ball tends to come back to the center. It’s all about the cross-over effect of heel-toe hits. thank you

4 years agoNew putters look awesome! I have a 1.1 that I am loving. I can’t wait to try the Gravity Grip. Seems like it could be a winner
Juro Kiyama
4 years agoI found and started using a Rife putter (IBF model) over 10 years and fell in love. It just rolls great and that feel is tremendous! Now I saw Mr. Rife’s video and understood thoughts and technology behind his putters, I am more comfortable using the puter in confident. I am very curious his newest putters and would love to try them (my local golf shops don’t carry them). I am the BIGGEST FAN of his putters!! Thanks for this great video, MYGOLFSPY!!
Brent
4 years agoLove the video and the new product launches! Can’t wait to give these a shot myself!

4 years agoWonder if putting a stability shaft on an Evnroll putter would make it even better. Heck might as well throw in the Gravity grip to boot.
Ivo Watson
4 years agoI love the fact that they have technology that can help and make the game better.
Larry Roberts
4 years agoGreat video, have been waiting for this one. I am sold on the Evnroll so much I have had my small local retail golf shop email company to see if it’s possible to purchase the putter board shown on other videos for he and I to share and fit myself as well as his customers. So glad it coming out for retail. Mygolfspy has taught me so much about the tech side I could never thank you enough. I’m am senior player but handicap is dropping.

4 years agoTremendous! lots of tech and good information delivered in an easy and understandable manner. Great putters, looks like I’ll have to invest in an Evnroll (unless I win one obviously!)
Bruce Moessen
4 years agoHope to replace my Ketsch with an Evnroll mallet.

4 years agoAbsolute great stuff! I can’t wait to try these putters to help with the weakest part of my game….or win one.
Gary Hsieh
4 years agoI love the look of the hatchback, seem to me that I can align much more accurate
Elvis A McCoy Jr
4 years agoThe two dots and alignment line makes for great putting.

4 years agoThe concept and discussion does make you want to put one in the bag and give it a workout on different courses and conditions. Seems like being able to compensate for off center strikes should make adapting to different green speeds much quicker.
Tim Roper
4 years agoLove the Tech and the feel of the Evnroll. Gravity grip sounds like a perfect innovation for someone like me who prefers centre shafted putters and a squarer path. Er2 CS has been on my wishlist for awhile now, winning one would make my year!
Sinewave
4 years agoThe EVNROLL ER1 is the only putter that I’ve used where I made 5 birdies in one round. My hdcp dropped from 5 to 4 within months of using it. You gain confidence immediately knowing that your putts will always be around the hole.
I will have to try the new grip that Guerin developed plus the putting track to practice at home with.
Thank you Guerin!!!!!!!!!
Peter Webster
4 years agoGreat video and lots to help with putting ideas

4 years agoInteresting new models and the new gravity grip looks like it would worth a try, I look forward to seeing MGS testing a putter with and without this grip. Would like to win the new ER1TS.

4 years agoI have been wanting to try the 1.2 and haven’t seen one in stores yet. Hopefully these will make it to stores soon? And from stores to….
Nic Sherman
4 years agoVery good info in this discussion. Thanks Adam and Guerin. I loved the performance of my original ER2, but could never get it started online. The new Plumbers Neck very intriguing to me.
Er2 with a Plumbers Neck. Yes Please.
GilB
4 years agoGuerin is a very interesting man with very innovative technology thoughts. Good interview. I’ve never had the pleasure of trying one of his putters but it sure makes me want to give them a whirl. The new putting board was also quite interesting.
Galynne Davis
4 years agoTotally intrigued and torn between the Tour Blade and the murdered out er5 hatchback…. AND that gravity grip! Whoa!
Doug
4 years agoGreat little segment with Guerin. Definitely not a self-aggrandizing speech about how Evnroll is the end all, be all of putters. I love the current model ER2, but I’d like to see how the 2019 models shape up, especially with the weighted grip. If you feel like handing me an ER2, I certainly won’t decline it!
Trevor
4 years agoVery interesting segment. Eager to try with the new grip on ER5. Love the putter! Great to see people trying to make the game better!

4 years agoVery interesting to see how Envroll continues to improve and expand the technology and their product line. Hoping for a test of the Gravity Grip real soon.

4 years agoEvnroll best putters on the market! I had evnroll ER1.2 and absolutely loved it! Unfortunately I sent it away to get it lengthen but the postal service have lost it in the delivery and can’t be found. Truly gutted I am. I would love to have another one.
Dave
4 years agoSimply put, these look amazing. I’d like to compare the ER5 to my Odyssey!

Galynne Davis
4 years agoThese putters are incredibly intriguing and, wow, that gravity grip! I would love to add one to my bag! Will need to find someplace near me to find some to try out… And will definitely be getting that training tool.

Mike Stone
4 years agoWould love a chance to win a putter..

4 years agoSend me the black one!
Ross Bailey
4 years agoLove what Rife has done for putting, I loved his old 2 bar except for the ease of “self adjustment” in the bag or ground…
The Evnroll is spot on and the new gravity grip really makes sense.
John
4 years agoWhere can I demo one?

4 years agoI see some stuff I’m going to need to buy!

4 years agoWould love to try the gravity grip on my Evnroll that I currently have. I didn’t know about aligning the putter on the dots for the put I have to hit.
Joe D'Angelo
4 years agoGreat interview. Interesting concept. Anything is worth trying.
Jim Cox
4 years agoFascinating offset on putter shaft. Will have to give it a try.
Like the grip improvements, should help with club control.
Raymond CHASTEL
4 years agoI’m both an excellent putter and putter equipment maniac .I put very well with any kind of putter .I’ve got a whole bunch of putters at home Of course I have an EVNROLL -an ER2.Well ,it’s a good putter ,but the best putter I have is a very ancient MIZUNO putter with a graphite shaft .With this MIZUNO putter I know exactly on which point of the blade is the impact .The graphite shaft also gives me better feeling in the fingers of the hands .I train at home in my basement ,500 puts each day I don’t play on the golf course ,from various distances up to 25 feet :puts dieing in the hole, puts 18 inches past ,puts 3 feet past ;To control distance ,you have to be very accurate with the contact point on the blade .
Joro52
4 years agoGreat video, thanks, like the black. Will research and probably buy one.
Thanks again.

Therod
4 years agoWould love to try a lefty model! Maybe next spring when the work bonus comes…
John P
4 years agoI currently own two Evnroll putters (ER2 and ER5) and have swapped out the original Evnroll grips for FlatCat grips for use with a claw grip like Justin Rose. Because the FlatCat grips are lighter than the original Evnroll grips, I have added some weight down the shaft with TourLock weights to keep the weight consistent.
I absolutely love both Evnroll putters (by far the best putters I have ever owned) and purchased the second one because historically I have liked to change up the look of my putter from time to time.
Katke87
4 years agoI respect Mr. Rife and what he’s accomplished over the years, especially with grooves. But given how inconsistently many of us amateurs hit the sweet spot of the putter face, I’ve never understood why Rife/Evnroll grooves only extend over a portion of the club’s face. Seems like the Ping grooves have the potential of much greater benefit to us chops regardless where on the face we contact the ball.
Ollie1
4 years agoGreat video and info.
John Lovett
4 years agoI have the 5 and have been waiting for the 2019s to come out — I think the 8 with the gravity grip will fit very nicely in my bag. 🙂

4 years agoWOW! One of these would look great in my bag
Jeffrey M. McCarthy
4 years agoMy son has been playing Evnroll for about 18 months – he loves it and is a total disciple- love the new models and Gravity Grip concept – only request: More black on black models. On my way to PGA Superstore right now to check out new models in person.

4 years agoWould love to try the Evnroll putters here in Albuquerque but neither of our 2 golf shops carry them. Having owned 3 C groove putters previously I would love to own a evnroll with the Best groove technology available. Would make me putt groovy.

4 years agoWatched-Subscribed… Great interviews.
The new ER83 Heel shafted mid mallet is my want.
Jon Cawley
4 years agoThankful that there are people out there who realize that questions lead to improvement- even in using technology. (Maybe the word even should be especially). I have wished the club fitters I have seen would allow my inquisitive nature a place at the fitting. Guess I haven’t found the right fitter yet.
Chad Ostby
4 years agoLH model for me please.
Blake
4 years agoThe new ER2 is looking sharp, and I’m intrigued by the gravity grip.
I’m going to have to find one of these to try out.
Bryan Neuberger
4 years agoVery cool! When are they being released?
Kevin Walsh
4 years agoLove Evnroll putters! Would love to win one.
Jason
4 years agoSounds like a must try tech. Really interested in off center hits being directed back to center. Game changer!
Eddie
4 years agoLove the all black putter. Hopefully all models have that option soon. Gravity grip looks like the real deal for feel players. Cant wait to win one.
Rich
4 years agoVery interesting ! I liked what I heard and saw and it makes sense. I really like the grip too. The fact that the developer admitted that it was an AaaaHaaa moment for him during the testing in grooves and etc. THIS IS A PUTTER I WOULD LIKE GIVE A CHANCE… Oooops Price ???? That’s the real deal breaker for me. I’m not investment banker !
Tider992010
4 years agoReally interesting. I like the putter-tour stoke, gravity grip and the mini roll board putting aid. I could use all of them in my bag.
Jason Fleming
4 years agoI have rolled some around the putter racks at the golf shop. I’m convinced I need one just can’t get the wife on board. A free one would be awesome.
Kenny B
4 years agoGreat interview! I wanted to love Evnroll putters when the first came out, but when I tried several models, they were just too light for my stroke. I would love to see a 400g head.
John M
4 years agoGod I love tech in a putter. It’s good that someone gets it. Can’t wait to roll one of these with the gravity grip
Steve Shaw
4 years agoThis is an example of over complicating a simply concept. A putter is a putter!
They do look nice though and that is the battle, if you like the look your confidence increases and you sink more puts!!
oldbob
4 years agoGreat review – met Guerin last year and he really knows his stuff – a really putting nerd in a great way!
Mike Bauer
4 years agoI would love to try one
The technology is amazing
Dan
4 years agoNext putter for me, Evnroll!
Dan
4 years agoI like the discussion about the tapered grooves having more surface contact on the heal and toe, thus enabling off-center strikes to roll the same distance as center strikes. Also, the tweaking of the groove width and spacing so that directional control is achieved. This reminds me of the old Yes putters with the semi-circular grooves. Both designs are completely different, but accomplish the same thing. I’d like to see a head-to-head test between the two.
The weighted grip is ingenious!
HDTVMAN
4 years agoExcellent Video! At last year’s PGA Show I saw the Evnroll putters, but didn’t pay that much attention as our store didn’t sell them. But in April, they were on the shelf in the corner! Before this video I was not aware of the groove technology and grip, as there was no training, either in person or video, to explain the putters and their capabilities, as compared to the competition. I can now say that customers shopping for putters and testing them on our putting greens will have an Evnroll placed in their hands with an explanation of the technology, putter & grip. My personal bag is always kept up to date with the latest equipment, however, I’m still “old school” with putters, an original Ping Anser & Sedona F (both PP58 Mid grips), and Odyssey Dual-Force Rossie Blade (Rosemark 1.52 grip) that I juggle! I would love to put an Evnroll blade with the Gravity grip in the bag, which will allow me the true experience when working with customers, and improve my own scores!
Jon
4 years agoWas a fan of the Rife putters. Would love to try an Evnroll!
Andy
4 years agoLove my ER8; now I’m really interested in the GravityGrip and the Tour Stroke model…

4 years agoThat new “tour mallet/#9′ style… woo-boy… that would look MY-T-NICE in my bag.
With the gravity grip and the 2 dot/sightline alignment technique I don’t see how you could go wrong.
this guy is a genius.

4 years agoThank you for the breaking down how the technology works. I would love to have a “murdered out” putter. The glare off my current putter can make it difficult to put at times. I currently own a ER2 and would not change except for another Evnroll putter.

4 years agoGreat explanation of groove technology. Love the idea behind the new putter that was initially a training aid. Also want to try his new grip with weight under the grip.
Duffy McHackster
4 years agoVery intrigued by Evnroll since learning about them on MGS, but i am a more or less all day drive from the nearest store on their locator map, so havent been able to get one in hand. Perhaps i’ll be lucky this time. It’d be great to have a new toy to break in putting on my living room carpet for the winter which has pretty much arrived in my neck of the woods.
Ken
4 years agoJust added an ER2 to my bag and I’m dropping puts I never did before. The speed consistency leads to confidence and allowing you to focus on your line.
RLR (Nihonsei)
4 years agoNice continuation video. Mr Rife is steady chugging along with innovations. Two why didn’t I think of that products in the grip which is beyond counter-balancing and the felt feedback to check immediate roll. Tight work fellas!

4 years agoI have played with an EVNROLL putter in the past and it was very nice. Would like to go back to one again with the newer technology.

4 years agoTried and Evnroll putter yesterday at my local retailer. Very nice product would love to own one. The roll board is also a great product! Looking forward to getting one this year. Thanks
Gary Gladwin
4 years agoWow! I wasn’t sure that there was any room for improvement given Evnroll’s excellent test results, but it looks like the 2019 range of putters are even better than before. I like the idea of the new Gravity Grips, too. I expect that other OEMs will be beating a path to Guerin’s door.

4 years agoLove my ER2, but Evnroll making a #9 style with the 8.3 is a dream come true. Throw on a Gravity Grip and I don’t see how you can get much better than that

4 years agoAs an innovator and inventor I have long realized that small changes or adjustments can have huge consequences, so watching and listening to this discussion makes total sense. Many will pooh pooh this as sales talk and BS but I can guarantee that those saying that have never design anything themselves…….. well not in the golf sense, that is. Love the tech but would have added one more putter – a mallet with a center stick (although many say it messes with the alignment lines) I putt with a center stick and love it. Great one guys!!!
PeterHvS
4 years agoYou can’t argue with science. I need one. Still using a Scotty from the 80’s. Time for an update. Thanks.
Jim Hopson
4 years agoWould love to give one of these a try. The gravity grip sounds interesting.
Ray
4 years agoLoved the concept and bought one of the first blade models. Only thing I noticed was a slight improvement on lag putts. No difference at all on putts inside of 10 ft and I seemed to fight the weight of the head on short putts inside of 4 ft. So I guess I am living proof that a fool with a tool is still a fool. I still have it and use it on days I know the greens are going to be slow, but it isn’t a magic bullet for me.

4 years agoI would love to have had the opportunity to try an Evnroll putter, but they are about as rare as hens’ teeth in the UK. That said, their reputation goes before them so when they are more widely available they should put a big dent in the Scotty Cameron sales. To try one for free would be wonderful!

4 years agoBeen keeping my eye on Evnroll since they won 2017 Most Wanted for both blade and mallet putter tests. Would love to give one a try on my new basement putting green. 🙂
Michael Kaplan
4 years agoLove my ER7. I love the alignment dots – they really help , especially on putts moving to the left or right. This replaced a Scotty Futura 7. I used it all summer this year and my lags as well as short putts improved immensely!

4 years agoInteresting concepts but would be interested in a side by side comparison with Odyssey and Ping.

4 years agoHow many grooves should l have on my putter face?
Peter Jackson
4 years agoI love the honesty of Guerin Rife. He makes no excuses for copying some of the best putter shapes. For example the PING Anser shape and now the Odyssey No 9. He has so much knowledge about putting and then works on specifics to improve the performance of his putters.
Grooves, tour stroke off set putters and now gravity grips. Wow!
