(5) Testers Wanted – MLA TOUR XDREAM Putters

How many putter brands can boast that their technology comes from 20 years of scientific study?

MLA can.

Over the last several seasons MLA putters have been consistently strong performers in our annual putter tests. The Company will tell you that its performance didn’t happen by accident. It happened by design, more specifically, it happened because of technology born from 20 years of research in the field of visual perception.

We’ve discussed the technology before, but in case you missed it”

MLA stands for Multiple Line-detector Activation, a technology developed by Swedish PhD Lennart Hogman. Dr. Hogman spent 20 years researching the connection between perception and motor skills, and has applied that knowledge to putting.

According to MLA, the human brain has over 100,000 line detectors, which help us determine what’s straight. MLA’s putters feature a patented alignment system that gets the left-brain and right-brain line detectors working together to help you get the ball rolling on the line you choose.

As MLA says, “Trust Your Eyes.”

Does it work?

There’s science, and then there are lower scores. Does the former beget the latter? Here’s your chance to find out.

MLA and MyGolfSpy are looking for 5 avid and curious golfers from around the globe to test MLA’s Tour XDream Black putter.

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A MYGOLFSPY PRODUCT TESTER:

As you know, MyGolfSpy takes its product testing very seriously. All of our reader reviews are published in our Community Forum (click here to check them out). We expect a lot from our reviewers – writing a thorough, detailed and honest review is a full two-month commitment, requiring extensive range and on-course work as well as participation in the Forum itself to answer questions and discuss product performance with other golfers.

That means to be a potential reviewer you must be a registered member of the MyGolfSpy Community Forum, where you’ll find thousands of like-minded golfers from all over the world anxious to talk about golf equipment.

To apply to test, review and keep the MLA TOUR XDREAM Putter, here’s what you have to do:

– First, if you haven’t already, please sign up for the MyGolfSpy Community Forum (click here to register).

– Second, apply ONLY in the Official MLA TOUR XDREAM Testers Wanted Thread in the Community Forum (click here).

The testers will be announced next week in the MyGolfSpy Community Forum.

I play two – three times a week and I average 25-30 putts per rounds, so I could give lots of good feedback.

I entered this testing opportunity faster than a fat kid slams down a Twinkie! Made the mistake of buying my current putter unfitted, and out of the clearance rack. Tried to improve it by cutting it down and putting a fat grip on it. Nope. Bad idea. Can count on less than one hand the number of 1 putt holes I’ve had in the last 2 years with it. At a recent golf show, had a show ‘fitting’ of the 10 putts on astroturf with the swing analyzer on the shaft. Had a face balanced mallet putter as the ‘match’ for my stroke. What do I use? A toe balanced blade. Oooops.
So, do I think this putter could get me a stroke or two a round? Without a doubt. Not only is the proper choice of putter type going to help your game, but the confidence to be aggressive with your putts and try to make everything? Priceless.
      Fingers crossed!

I live in Hawaii. I play two to four times a week. We play on a variety of grasses. Tiff dwarf, Tiff eagle, seashore paspalum, common Bermuda and a newer paspalum hybrid. I don’t three putt often but I don’t make alot of six footers either. This putter looks much different than my usual anser style putter but would be happy to give it a go.

I am a true average golfer, 18 handicap but above average putter 30.8/round. I bought the Evenroll based on your testing and review but my stroke average increased by 1! I still love my old Aserta mallet. The original top weighted design. Would love to test the new MLA⛳️ Always looking for that edge. Play 2-4/ week. Practice putting 5-7/week.

I have always used a blade putter, mostly Odessey.
Been thinking of switching to a ballot. I have a two ball, but not comfortable with it. I live in The Villages, Fla, golf capitol of the world.
I would like to o control the speed of puts better and find tune direction.

Have always been a blade type putter for 50 years, but just maybe the high tech mallets are the way to go. Play 3 times a week and would love to see if I can shave off a few putts.

I’m a center shafted mallet guy who would love to test a new putter. In the Chicago area. Usually play Saturdays and Sundays, put in 60 to 80 rounds per year. Course I play most often has poa greens and speeds run from 10’s to 12s depending on moisture and if they can roll them.
