Arccos and TaylorMade Expand Partnership

Arccos and TaylorMade have announced an expanded multi-year partnership, the “Track Better. Play Better” program. It marks the first time Arccos sensors will be available as part of a TaylorMade golf club purchase.

The specifics work like this: Beginning today, anyone who purchases a TaylorMade Stealth driver, Stealth irons or any current P-series offering (P790, P770, P7MC and P7MB) can visit the TaylorMade Arccos portal, enter some basic info and receive a free set of sensors along with a 45-day trial of the Arccos Caddie Platform. The same holds true for anyone who previously purchased a qualifying TaylorMade product so, even if you bought P790 irons last fall or pre-ordered a Stealth Driver, you can still get the sensors.

Shipping is free so there’s nothing to lose.

It’s a mutually beneficial arrangement.

It gives Arccos another opportunity to turn golfers into customers and expand its database which already includes more than nine million rounds and 500 million shots struck across 194 countries.

For its part, TaylorMade should gain additional insights into how its clubs are performing on course. Those insights will very likely help shape future generations of TaylorMade products.

With the new TaylorMade agreement, Arccos now has arrangements with three of the five largest brands in golf equipment. It’s likely only a matter of time before others come on board.

For more information, or to claim your free sensors, visit taylormade.arccos.com.

What is the benefit of Arrcos over say Garmin where there is no monthly fee? Also Garmin ties into their watch. Do I need to carry a phone in my pocket with Arrcos or at least keep it close by?

Do I really need all this analytical stuff & be concerned with “apps” & additional ongoing costs? I range in my clubs by going to a flat, open hole on my course when no one’s around & then hitting balls. Wind & other weather conditions aside, it becomes damn obvious what club I need to hit from a certain yardage. Throw in wind, cold, etc. & all that yardage analytics goes out the window, it’s more by feel and experience. Winds on my course shift constantly, so don’t tell me an “app” give me accurate wind adjustments.

“Do I really need an app if I’m willing to put in a crazy amount of time and effort (that most people don’t have) to do it the old fashioned way?” Obviously not.

That sounds better then what I got with the senors already in my Ping 425 irons…I like my irons but the grips suck…loose on the end where the sensor is…Unlike Ping I would hope Taylormade understands some players could care less about the Accros program and puts regular grips on their clubs (Ping offered other grips at an up charge) and lets those that want them collect the add on sensors

As long as they don’t force it on us like cobra clubs and new ping clubs. I do not want to be forced into those stupid arccos grips I’d like it to be an option. Mail order the sensors is great but the integrated grips are literally the worst especially if you don’t use arccos or use another vendor grip mounted product or plan on re-gripping your clubs one day for less than $300

Amen brother, nothing like spending all the money for your irons and then spending another $100 to re-grip a couple months later because the top of the grip is loose because of the built in sensor…..

The Arccos app also has a great tuning feature. You can update your driver settings (more notes than driver specific) and you can see how the changes reflect over the next few rounds.

Wow good for Arccos! Been using their tech for the past few years and have gone from a 10 handicap to a 2. Highly suggest giving this a try to any TM purchasers out there.

Arccos has been associated with Ping for several years. TM is just trying to get a piece of that market.

Arccos is offering a similar deal for Ping owners: https://ping.com/en-us/arccos_caddie

They’ve been on new Cobra clubs for a while as well. Only makes sense to get more OEMs onboard. Arccos is awesome.
