Barstool’s New Sweater Is Perfect for Masters Week

I’ll be the first to admit, I dislike almost everything about Barstool Sports. However, that doesn’t mean I’m a curmudgeon and can’t admit when I like something outside of my usual taste. With that being said, Barstool’s new 19th Hole Caddie Dog Sweater is absolutely awesome.

We all wish we could go to the Masters and see the action in person, but deep down, we all long for the opportunity to shop Augusta’s pro shop so we can get some official Masters gear. But we dream. To quell those desires, every year, countless brands release Masters-inspired apparel and equipment, and a lot of it is bad. This sweater is on a different level though.

Clearly inspired by Polo Ralph Lauren’s Polo Bear, Barstool’s 19th Hole Caddie Dog shows a different, more refined style that is a smart move for the brand (they’ve released something I really like and that counts for something). The Caddie Dog sweater comes in two colors: cream and green, and on each, the dog is seen with either an Arnold Palmer or Azalea cocktail. What I love so much about this sweater is that it can easily be worn over an oxford cloth button down, golf polo, or simply by itself and still look great.

If you’re looking to pair your sweater with a great hat, Branded Bills has also released two outstanding Masters-inspired hats with the 5-Panel Rope Pimento Hat and 5-Panel Rope Azalea Hat. Both hats are playful, subtle, and tasteful, and the fit of Branded Bills caps is great.

Odds are you’re not going to the Masters, and if you’re anything like me, you want to capture some of the magic of Augusta at home. Take a page out of my playbook and get the Barstool 19th Hole Caddie Dog Sweater, a Branded Bills Pimento Hat, make a bunch of pimento cheese and egg salad sandwiches, and host a Masters Party.
