There’s always something new in golf. New clubs, new apparel, new shoes, new bags and the occasional product that comes completely out of left field. Rather than cover every launch with a standalone story, This Week in Golf Gear is a quick look at the new releases, collaborations and products that caught our eye.
This week in golf gear
Four models with MOI north of 5,000 and Odyssey's new Ai-Star insert. Hits retail Nov. 6.
The standard 2026 Chrome Tour with a cartoon turtle on it. Priced per dozen and available now.
Officially licensed college golf bags and accessories, now with a new wave of schools.
Apparel, gloves, ball markers and a Containment MG5 wedge set. Some of it has already sold out.
A soft EVA footbed with built-in arch support, made for after the round.
Odyssey TRTL Putters

This is fresh off the press and legitimately one of the most anticipated putter releases ever.
The Odyssey TRTL has been floating around Tour for most of the year, with Min Woo Lee putting one in play back in February, and now Odyssey is finally bringing it to retail.
There are four models, including the TRTL MAX Square 2 Square, and the numbers are serious. MOI is north of 5,000 on the standard models and closer to 6,000 on the MAX. Odyssey is also debuting its new Ai-Star insert, which combines the speed-normalizing ideas from Ai-ONE with the roll-promoting grooves from Ai-DUAL.
The TRTL has already had a huge start in Japan, where all four models reportedly became the top four selling putters at launch.
The three standard models will be $349.99, while the TRTL MAX Square 2 Square will be $399.99. They hit retail on Nov. 6. After months of seeing this thing on Tour and wondering when Odyssey would finally let it loose, the TRTL is officially here.
Callaway Chrome Tour TRTL

Callaway apparently decided the new Odyssey TRTL putter needed a matching golf ball because, why not?
The Chrome Tour TRTL is a standard 2026 Chrome Tour with a cartoon turtle and thin green alignment lines printed on it. The fun part is what happens when you pair it with the TRTL putter: the ball becomes the turtle’s head sitting in front of the putter’s shell-shaped body.
It’s ridiculous and incredible.
Performance-wise, nothing has changed from the standard Chrome Tour, so you’re still getting the same ball underneath all of the turtle regalia.
The Chrome Tour TRTL is $59.99 per dozen and available now.
Jones Expanded Campus Collection

Jones is giving its Campus Collection a huge expansion, adding a new wave of schools to its lineup of officially licensed college gear.
The collection takes all of Jones’ most recognizable bags and accessories and gives them a fresh collegiate treatment. The new additions broaden the lineup considerably and give more golfers a chance to rep their school in a tasteful, classic and insanely cool way.
I didn’t even go to Alabama, but that Alabama Trouper has me screaming ROLL TIDE!
TaylorMade Ghostbusters Collaboration

Who ya gonna call?
Apparently, TaylorMade.
Just in time for Halloween, TaylorMade has teamed up with Ghostbusters for one of the coolest golf collaborations I’ve ever seen. There’s apparel, gloves, ball markers and plenty of Ghostbusters iconography throughout, although a decent chunk of the collection has already been slimed—I mean, sold out.
Thankfully, some of the good stuff is still around.
The highlight for me is easily the Containment MG5 Wedge Set. If you’re going to make a Ghostbusters golf collection, putting the franchise’s containment-unit aesthetic on a set of wedges is exactly the kind of ridiculous commitment I want to see.
The wedges, ball markers, glove and apparel are still available as of now.
It’s Halloween week. Ghostbusters and golf have collided.
Sun Day Red Recovery Slide

Sun Day Red has a new Recovery Slide, and this one is very much aimed at what happens after the round.
The slide uses a soft-density EVA footbed with built-in arch support and textured zones designed to stimulate and relax tired feet. There’s also a durable EVA midsole and an anti-slip outsole for a little more structure and grip.
They’re $90, which is definitely premium-slide territory, but I can see the appeal if you’re someone who walks a lot of golf and wants something comfortable to throw on afterward.
And yes, they look exactly like something Tiger would wear around the clubhouse.
