Golf.com has published its annual list of The Most Beautiful Women in Golf.
We reached out to a prominent female golfer who didn’t make the list to hear her thoughts on missing the cut.
It stings, it really hurts.
I’ve dedicated years to my game. I’ve worked hard, damn hard. I’ve won tournaments at every level, so to be overlooked for not being pretty…I’m basically devastated.
Making the list was a goal of mine. I’m disappointed, but it makes me want to work that much harder on making myself more attractive to men by 2017. I’ve already hired a stylist to help me find some shorter skirts and tighter tops, and I have an appointment with a prominent plastic surgeon later this week. I really think that, with the right makeup, I’m a pair of marginally-oversized tits away from cracking the Top 5.
I worked hard to achieve great things both on and off the golf course, but this list provides such an incredible opportunity to be celebrated for my looks and not my achievements.
Isn’t that what every little girl dreams of?
