Titleist Adds Enhanced Alignment Option for Pro V1, Pro V1x and Pro V1x Left Dash

Titleist has announced an Enhanced Alignment option for the Pro V1, Pro V1x and Pro V1x Left Dash.

Titleist isn’t going nuts or anything. This isn’t Truvis or Stripe (or Ink).

Enhanced Alignment provides a new choice for golfers seeking a pre-baked alignment aid beyond the side stamp or the more than 40 different alignment designs already available through Titleist’s golf ball customization program.

Do you like alignment aids?

I’m not sure where you stand but I’m an alignment aid guy. As I’ve intermittently struggled with my putting, I’ve tried almost everything from a single line to TP Pix with ClearPath, all the way to Callaway’s two-color Fade pattern.

Personally, I gravitate towards the bigger, bolder, can’t miss ‘em kind of designs, and while Titleist’s Enhanced Alignment isn’t quite as audacious as that, it strikes a reasonable balance between subtlety and utility.

It’s an option for golfers who like a little bit of alignment help.

Like the Performance Alignment option (colored line that comes to a point) that was introduced last year, the Enhanced Alignment was inspired by the Titleist Tour staff for whom less is often more.

That’s perhaps the reason one of Titleist’s larger alignment aids is still relatively subtle compared to some of the options in the marketplace. I suppose when you’ve got the No. 1 ball in golf, you don’t need to scream quite as loud.

I don’t use Titleist so it doesn’t matter to me. Looks ok though.

This one is bad but not the worst. The new Bridgestone distraction on the ball gets the crown for worst addition to a golf ball. It’s driving me away from their brand.

Why add more distractions on a ball. I don’t like the idea. But the majority always wins.

It should go all the way around the ball. Then u can see a perfect roll.

not sure I like this aid…..no alignment has ever worked for me, so i am bias…….that being said, as a lifelong Titleist player, i find these to be outside the Titleist box for class and elegance……i hope they work for you all

Quick glance with looking at the lines almost looks like a range ball does anyone else see it or is it just me

When I am reading them well, like the alignment aid. When not use Titleist as aid, allows last second read and feel before stroke. Voice activation would be worth $100 a box.

Use/Not use, same result. Best to see the line finishing at my putter face.
