adidas Dropped This Banger, Told No One!

The adidas ZX line is one of those icons that never gets the love it deserves. It first dropped in the 1980s and has since been resurrected a few times. Shoes like the ZX 8000 were popular in 1988, and they’re still popular today.

Heck, if you saw the numbers the ZX Flux did in the high school halls of Utah, you’d be impressed.

So when adidas decided to drop a retro version of the ZX 8000 for winter golf, I couldn’t help but feel a little nostalgic. The problem? They didn’t really tell anyone.

That’s what my job is!

So, the ZX 8000 is back and ready for golf. It’s got GORE-TEX waterproofing and that famous TORSION bar to keep you stable. Oh, and era-appropriate updates to the cushion, like BOOST. All wrapped up in a seasonal brown synthetic suede.
