ECCO Wants You to Treat Yourself to New Golf Shoes

There isn’t much I love more than a waffle cone and a giant scoop of ice cream. There’s something about a cold treat on a hot summer day that hits me in the feels.

If I could take that serendipitous feeling with me everywhere, I would.

Thanks to ECCO, I can. Introducing the ECCO “New Flavour of Golf” collection. This ice cream-inspired capsule perfectly captures everything I love about the frozen dairy treat.

About the Collection

Rich colors, bold patterns and premium materials give these ECCO golf shoes a youthful vibe that is best described with one word: Fun.

The New Flavours of Golf collection is made up of three of ECCO’s most popular models. The GOLF TRAY and BIOM C4 for women and the Classic Hybrid and BIOM C4 for men.

Each is inspired by a popular ice cream flavor. We’re talking Raspberry, Hazelnut-Honey, Pistachio and my personal favorite, Stracciatella (if you know, you know).

ECCO is no stranger to limited-edition collections. They just did a pair with Rick Shiels and the EVR pack is also very exciting. But those were still very traditional. The New Flavours of Golf collection is, in my opinion, a big step for the brand.

It shows they’re committed to crafting a good story. Limited collabs with golfers and YouTube personalities are great but they don’t tell a story or really speak to an audience. Mention ice cream and now you’ve got the attention of people who normally wouldn’t bat an eye.

For what it’s worth, the food-inspired shoe collabs are my favorite genre of special kicks. Remember the Waffle House shoes adidas did for Patrick Mahomes? Even the non-golf NIKE Dunk Low “Chunky Dunky” collab with Ben & Jerry’s is a good example of how to tell stories that appeal to consumers’ eyes and their stomachs.

If I saw the ECCO New Flavours of Golf collection in my local supermarket freezer section, you best believe I’d pick up a flavor or two. The next time I ask my wife for a “little treat”, I’m really just asking for a new pair of ECCO golf shoes.

You can sample the entire New Flavours of Golf collection now at ECCO.

I bought ECCO golf shoes for the first time last year. After half a dozen wears, they started making a weird sound, like there was air getting trapped in the sole. ECCO didn’t want to know about it

Been an Echo user for many years but I’ve found a few other shoe brands that are as comfortable but without the high sticker price. I play about 4 times per week so a pair of shoes lasts (in Echo’s case) about a year. No more $250 shoes for me.
