Just Dropped: TaylorMade Season Opener Collection

It’s Masters week and you know what that means.

Masters swag … a whole lot of it. Of course, nobody is going to call it “Masters” anything because of trademarks, but when we hear phrases like season opener or azalea collection, we know what’s up.

And so here we are ogling TaylorMade’s 2025 Season Opener Collection – the rendition of what has become a tradition for TaylorMade.

While TaylorMade hasn’t done much in the way of themed limited edition clubs, the company is offering up an assortment of headcovers, golf balls, and a staff bag.

At $600, I’d argue the latter is wholly impractical, but if you’re a collector of all things Augusta or really looking to make an obnoxious statement on the golf course, the staff bag is absolutely worth considering.

Azalea-themed headcovers are available for your driver, fairway wood, hybrid, and both mallet and blade putters.

Last, but certainly not least, TaylorMade has created azalea-themed versions of its TP5 Stripe and TP5x Stripe golf balls. Replacing the bland black on the stock TP5 stripe, the ring of azaleas is perhaps … not perhaps, absolutely is TaylorMade’s best use of its stripe pattern to date.

Packing is customized for the theme du jour, and the sleeves in particular, are well done.

The entire TaylorMade Season Opener Collection is available now. I’d expect many items will sell out fast.
