SuperStroke Limited Edition Ryder Cup Golf Bags

SuperStroke has long been a household name in grips. Their iconic putter grips have been played across courses everywhere since their inception in 2009. Now, they’re loosening their grip on that corner of the market to dip their toes into the golf bag space with the release of a pair of limited-edition Ryder Cup pieces.

The all-new premium golf bags are indicative of SuperStroke’s excellence in innovation. Let’s take a closer look at why the brand is so excited about its first foray into golf bags.

  • Both cart and stand bags will start shipping in mid-September

More Than a Grip Brand

Pivoting to churn out a golf bag is no small feat, especially for a brand that’s built its legacy on golf grips. But, SuperStroke was darn sure not going to release a golf bag unless it was given the appropriate amount of effort and focus.

Some brands just slap their logo on anything that stands or holds clubs. Not SuperStroke. They started from the ground up and went all in on making what they felt was a good golf bag – something more than just a Ryder Cup fan piece.

“SuperStroke is proud to have such accomplished players using our premium putter grips at this year’s Ryder Cup matches, we wanted to offer something special to commemorate the historic biennial event,” said SuperStroke CEO Dean Dingman. “The SuperStroke Ryder Cup Carry and Stand Bags are brilliantly designed statement pieces with all the latest premium features you’d expect from a luxury golf bag. If consumer demand echoes the reaction of everyone who has seen these bags so far, these limited-edition bags won’t stay in stock long.”

The real calling card for each of SuperStroke’s new golf bags is the premium synthetic leather construction. This sleek (dare I say sexy) material gives the bag an elegant look and feel without the added weight of real leather.

Each is brandished with Team USA and Ryder Cup insignia, as well as a proud American-themed paint job.

No Mistake

Was picking Justin Thomas for the Ryder Cup team a mistake? Who’s to say? What I can say is that SuperStroke went out on a limb with these new golf bags … and ultimately made the right choice.

If you’re in need of a stunning golf bag to show your support for Team USA, head over to SuperStroke and place your preorder before they inevitably sell out.

Let’s hope the bags are not of the same quality as their golf grips. Purchased 10 S-Tech Club Grip, put one on my 5 iron just to try it out and went to the range. The feel is good and it’s sticky as i want it – the problem is that the surface started to worn out under my left thumb after maybe 20 hits… The current grips i have (Lamkin X10) has been on my clubs for 5 years. They still look and feel brand new – just a little bit dry. The remaining 9 grips i have left of S-Tech will never come into play…
