Under Armour’s Cheesy Take on the Masters

Salty that you can’t make it to the Masters this year to taste the classic pimento cheese sandwich? Under Armour’s new limited-edition golf collection will serve as some consolation.

The cheesy golf collection is inspired by, of all things, Augusta’s famed sandwich. The eight-piece pack is headlined by Under Armour’s Drive Pro and Phantom golf shoes.

Each piece is tastefully draped in hues of green, grey, white or tan. And, of course, each special piece is blessed with UA’s new pimento cheese sandwich emblem. I’m no graphic designer but the logo is absolutely “S-tier” (as the kids say these days). Translation: it’s great.

This is, without a doubt, one of the more subtle Masters-themed product drops this year. And that’s a good thing. For a brand like Under Armour which is really dipping its toes into the world of themed golf gear, I think the new limited-edition collection is a “major” win.

You can shop the entire drop now at Under Armour.

Not that anyone cares, I know, but Under Armour is my near-solo, go-to apparel provider. Their quality and variety of products, materials, and colors is IMO unmatched in the retail world. Right now, in fact, I’m wearing a pair of their golf shorts, a golf shirt, and a hoodie. I’ll never wear their joggers onto the golf course (only lulu pants suffice), but I did pick up a pair of UA “joggers” two weeks ago and wore them for a week straight. I’m lucky, I have family who live 5 minutes from UA’s Kittery, ME outlet (always fantastic prices) and 15 minutes from UA’s Norfolk, VA outlet (ditto).
